While out on an off-leash walk, Oliver found this toy from Halloween in the tall grass. He surprised me for a second there as I forgot all about this toy!

And of course, itā€™s now his favorite because he gets a big reaction from me every time.

I guess he just needed a hand šŸ¤£.

Some of the off-leash skills Mali learned in our board and train program!! Her owners specifically wanted us to focus on off-leash heeling and recalls. Mali also had poor play skills, so we spent a lot of time on that!

Before coming to us, Mali was recently adopted. She had lived in a backyard most of her life on a chain, then she was rescued and put in a foster home until her new owners fell in love with her.

Since leaving, Mali has been able to go on off-leash adventures and enjoy life!!!

Iā€™m so proud to be a TWC-certified trainer and to have Ivan Balabanov as one of my mentors. Investing in education is one of the best investments you can make. I started this program in late 2023 (though Iā€™ve been training since 2011 and graduated from a different dog training school in 2014). It has significantly improved how I train and interact with dogs in so many ways!

TWC provides ongoing educational resources after graduation, as well as an annual meetup, which I recently attended and where I gained even more valuable knowledge. Iā€™m incredibly hungry for knowledge when it comes to dog training, and my search for more education will never stop! Iā€™ll always strive to provide the best education and training when it comes to dogs.

I still have a lot to learn! The journey never endsā€¦

This is a raw training session with a pup that recently went home from our program. She was with us for 2 weeks total, this video was taken a week and few days into her board and train.

You will see how we deal with mistakes - we believe trial and error learning is far more effective than errorless learning!

Also, you will notice that when we do a sit command, she at times will lay down. We allow this with Jezzebell because she appears physically uncomfortable in a sit. It is important to customize goals to the individual dog!

Iā€™m really proud of this case.

Charles came to me through Homewordbound pet rescue back in April for some severe biting. He wouldnā€™t growl, which made it difficult for others around him to read him.

His main trigger was putting his leash on, and taking it off. He would bite over this every time and he bit HARD causing stitches. He would also resource guard and bite if handled for routine care.

The rescue was considering euthanasia, but reached out to me before making that choice.

Because of how predictable the bites were and that he was pretty much always targeting hands, I felt safe working with him and rehoming him after intense training.

Charles stayed with me for 4 months, and we found the perfect home for him. His new family visited and trained with him about 4 times before taking him home to ensure they knew how to make Charles happy and comfortable.

Charles has been in his new home for 1 month and has been great! They love him so much and he is the luckiest dog in the world!!!

This felt really good after having a case earlier this year with a dog we worked really hard with, rehomed, and ended up trying to bite people in the face with no clear trigger.

Apollo and Minnie (black and brown dogs on the left) used to struggle to be in the home together. Since completing a board and train with us, they are able to freely mingle and enjoy each otherā€™s company!!

Thank you to all who of my wonderful, caring clients who have been so patient and compassionate about the passing of my amazing dog, Celia.

She was so special to me, an inspiration, and a major help with the business. Celia, who was a reactive dog herself in her youth helped other dogs overcome over-excitement, reactivity, and other behavior issues that involve dogs.

I have been late with replies, if you have not heard from me feel free to shoot another message over.

I miss her so much.
