Recent board and train graduate Oakley, playing frisbee off-leash with her mom before the snow! She learned how to play frisbee with us, and be off-leash!!!
Some of the off-leash skills Mali learned in our board and train program!! Her owners specifically wanted us to focus on off-leash heeling and recalls. Mali also had poor play skills, so we spent a lot of time on that!
Before coming to us, Mali was recently adopted. She had lived in a backyard most of her life on a chain, then she was rescued and put in a foster home until her new owners fell in love with her.
Since leaving, Mali has been able to go on off-leash adventures and enjoy life!!!
Jezebell raw training session
This is a raw training session with a pup that recently went home from our program. She was with us for 2 weeks total, this video was taken a week and few days into her board and train.
You will see how we deal with mistakes - we believe trial and error learning is far more effective than errorless learning!
Also, you will notice that when we do a sit command, she at times will lay down. We allow this with Jezzebell because she appears physically uncomfortable in a sit. It is important to customize goals to the individual dog!
This a raw/unedited session with a 4 month old Aussie named Barrel! This short session just to demonstrate his skills - our sessions are often much longer. Barrel is been here a littler over a week. Look at what he has learned! 😁
A session with Odin! He is an absolute joy to work with. This is what an average session looks like with our client’s dogs when they understand the games we play and the obedience we taught!
Jasper is availble for adoption
Hello! I’m Jasper, a white German Shepherd that was found as a stray in Jasper, GA. I am currently being fostered by Spirited K9, where I have been learning manners and obedience commands.
I am very loyal and affectionate toward people I know. I love to train, cuddle, get belly rubs, play, go on walks, and explore the outdoors with my trainers. I have been taught sit, down, come, heel, place, stay, leave-it, and off! I am able to walk nicely on a leash; I am also crate and house trained! Did I mention that I am neutered and up-to-date of vaccinations?
Like most shepherds, I have a natural guard dog instinct and a lot of energy! I will alert to any strangers around the home. To help with my energy, my trainers showed me how to run on a treadmill, I love it! I also tend to shed heavily so be prepared for a lot of fluff.
Something to know about me, I really don’t like strangers (especially when they stick their hand in my face) It takes me time to bond with a new person. For this reason, I have been trained to wear a muzzle when in situations where I will be around strangers. Once I am bonded, I am very silly and affectionate!
I am looking for a home where there are no kids or other dogs. This way I can be the center of attention! I also require on-going training and a fenced back yard where I can feel free to explore.
If you are interested in Jasper, please Spirited K9 or CastOff Pet Rescue a message!

Luna - Platform Work
Luna is mastering hopping onto a platform for obedience training. Platforms allow us to limit the pups space to wander, setting them up for success!
We have just lowered the platform to the ground, making obedience cues more practical.
Molly - Muzzle Conditioning
Muzzles don't have to be scary!
Molly is developing a positive association with a muzzle so we can work on her aggression toward other animals safely.
When wearing the muzzle, Molly is still able to open her mouth, eat, and drink.
