Who Are We?
We are Lone Star. Our family started this organization because we saw a need for more facilities to help horses. There is a huge disparity between the amount of horses in need of rescue and the amount of people willing and able to do so! We center our lives around theirs and all work endlessly to provide the best care possible to make sure they don't end up in the same situations as before.
We are a small operation and do our very best to find the right fit for every animal that comes through our facility. As a 501(c)3, we are completely donation-funded and volunteer-run. If you’d like to join us by donating money, materials or time, please contact us directly. YOU are a big part of what we are able to do for these animals in need. Help us save lives!
