Carousel Farm Carousel Farm is a Saddlebred training facility for riders of all ages and experience levels. We offer Birthday Parties, Summer Camps, and a Kids Club!

Nestled on 40 beautiful acres, surrounded by gently rolling hills, Carousel Farms is conveniently located between Princeton and Bluefield, WV. Carousel Farm is owned and operated by Ben and Sherri Surface and son Casey. A well established and family-oriented business, Carousel Farm prides itself on many years of experience and a well maintained, fun and safe environment. We are a full care climate

-controlled facility with many amenities to offer. Those include 32 stalls, 250 x 60 show barn with indoor riding, 4 secure tack rooms, a wash stall, laundry room, feed room, and heated lobby and restroom. We also offer breeding with a beautiful foaling and boarding barn with paddock, along with several paddocks with run ins. There is also a large outdoor arena for riding in the scenic landscape that Carousel Farm is so proud to offer! Just a short walk from the barn there is a beautiful pond for fishing, riding the paddle boat, or just enjoying the geese and ducks that frequent it, comfortably seated on the swing in the gazebo. We offer boarding and training, lessons in riding and driving, all in a relaxed environment and pride ourselves on a job well done with each and every one of our horses and riders. We have riders ranging from 3 to 70, from beginner to advanced, from pleasure riding to show riding, we do it all! We are looking forward to introducing the world of horses and saddleseat riding to many new faces this spring! Carousel Farms along with its staff provides top notch care to its horses and riders. We are proud to have on staff with us some of the most highly regarded veterinarians on the east coast based on your horse’s needs, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and farriers all provide services in our barn for the continued health and well-being of our horses! Our farriers are Casey Surface and Mr. Taulby Runyon of Chattanooga TN. Our Head trainers/Instructor are Sherri Surface and Casey Surface. Both live on the beautiful grounds of Carousel Farm. Barn staff, groomers, and helpers are highly trained and are dedicated to giving the best care to the horses in their care. At our barn we feel like the saying “The way to heaven is on horseback” will be true today, tomorrow and forever. We look forward to helping you find your piece of heaven while here Carousel Farm!
