Have you ever wanted to know how to sew your own sugar glider sleeping pouch? Here's how I make mine, now this is a step by step process using a sewing machine but there are tutorials out there with a no sew options.

This is how to make a nearly seamless double lined sleeping pouch.

All fabric used for your sugar gliders need to seamless to be safe. Sugar gliders can chew and ingest the thread which can get caught in their digestive track which can lead to death.

You will need:

Two 9 by 18 peices of antipeel fleece
Two 3 by 1 pieces of antipeel fleece
Sewing machine

Bud and Lue have made it to their new bachelor pad. They are officially 8 weeks old yesterday, I'm separating them from mom to make sure they are eating good on their own, and then they will be ready for new 🏠. Pm if interested in these two distinguished gentlemen.

How I prep veggies for my suggies

I normally do this about every 2 to 3 months. I use a combination of fresh and frozen vegetables. I also change up the veggies every time cause like us they get bored eating the same thing all the time.

This time I used:
Green cabbage
Yellow squash
Sweet potato
Zucchini
Orange bell pepper
Frozen mixed veggies
Frozen broccoli slaw ( its only Frozen because I caught it on sale)
And some left over veggies from the last batch.

I wished all my fresh vegetables, peeled my sweet potatoe and diced everything up. The prices don't have to be super small maybe about the size of a nickle.

I add all of them to a bowl and then add all my Frozen vegetables as well. Then I give them a good mix.

Then I fill my gal size zip lock bags half way full, lay them flat and spread out the vegetables and try to squish out as much air as I can, and I always date it. This batch made 3 bags.

Last I lay them flat in my freezer and let them freeze. I always add some to a plastic container before bagging them up for that night's feeding. Freezing your vegetables this way makes it easy to break apart and thaw out what you need. I keep a plastic container in my fridge that holds enough veggies to feed my suggies for a few nights. Once I use all of what is in the container I wash and refill it.

You can always feed fresh vegetables every night but I found this to be more convenient. But I always feed fresh fruit, I feel like fruit doesn't thaw out as well as the vegetables do, and they just don't seem very appetizing.
