Even though our pets love to do everything with us, it’s important to remember that on hotter days, they can overheat more quickly than people and they have a harder time cooling down. Please enjoy your time together outside safely. Be mindful of the heat and never, ever leave your pet in the car.

Did you know when the air temperature is 77 degrees, asphalt can be as hot as 125 degrees?! YIKES. How about when it’s 86 degrees🌡...we’re talking an asphalt temp of about 135 degrees, which is hot enough to fry an 🍳 egg! Imagine how your pet’s paws would feel. 😩
SOLUTIONS:
1. Walk early or late when it’s cooler
2. Hit the trails
3. Buy booties for paw protection
