Our private competition team travels around the state of Utah to various Western/English pleasure shows on average once a month. Showing is a great opportunity for your child’s education as well as their confidence! Don’t have a horse? No problem we can provide one for you! Please know that showing is a huge financial and time commitment but is well worth it! We have a wonderful and supportive group of parents and kids, this provides a great opportunity to make some friends with a common interest! Message us if you’re interested 😊
Qualifications:

*Must be able to Walk/Trot unassisted on the rail
*3-5 hours per week time commitment plus 12 hour show days at least once a month.

We are looking for a Western and/or English instructor to join our team for our bluffdale location! We have indoor facilities so this is a year round position. Currently this position is part time (10-15 hours per week) we may be able to accommodate a more full time schedule in the future for the right applicant. We are willing to train someone but riding experience is required and non negotiable. Pay depends on experience but starts at $10-$15 per hour with the opportunity for yearly raises. Requirements:
*16 years or older
*Have a valid US license
*Minimum of 4 years riding experience, preferably under a trainer
*Reliable transportation year round
*Able to provide excellent customer service to both parents and students
*Communicate effectively
*Self motivated
*Teaching experience preferred but not required
*Insurance is required to teach

Job Duties:
*Teach students proper ground handling, safety, and riding technique
*Communicate effectively with customers and other team members
*Care for and new tack clean and in working condition
*Assist with summer camps
*Sub lessons
*Assist with Birthday parties
*Be willing as other job duties may arise from time to time

If your child has been interested in showing horses it’s your lucky day! Due to some unforeseen circumstances we have one spot opening up in January. Below are the qualifications to apply, you do not need to be a current student with us to apply

Qualifications:
1. Can W/T/C confidently off of a lunge line
2. Ages 10-17
3. Good attitude (Both parent and student)
4. Hard working (Both parent and student)

Parents please be aware that this is a huge financial and time commitment, please only apply if you are serious. That being said your child’s horse education will greatly benefit from this experience! We have a fantastic group of parents and kids this year and we all have a blast! We are located at Keystone Equestrian and have indoor facilities for year round riding. We teach beginner to advanced lessons in all of the following: Western and English pleasure, barrels, jumping, and have competition opportunities for students that want to advance. Students learn all aspects of horsemanship including catching, leading, grooming, tacking, groundwork, and riding. We take ages 7+ (we can do younger but it is on a case by case basis). Our Halloween camp is this weekend! This is for ages 6-18 and we will have games both on and off the horses as well as some stuff for the kiddos to take home. No horse experience is required for this. Each child will get riding time. We have indoor facilities so kids can stay warm and dry! I have 1 spot still available 😊

The team is located in Bluffdale for lessons and practice. Girls on the team will get more ride time than the typical student as well as more hands on experience in all aspects of horsemanship!

Summer means more openings for horseback riding lessons! We teach western and English riding as well as barrels and jumping. We also have a competition team for more intermediate riders! Kids and adults will learn all the basics of ground work, ground handling, grooming, tacking, as well as riding. Let us know if you’re interested or if you have any questions!

We will have a spot opening up on our competition team in April! The horse that’s available is Callie, she’s easy to ride anyone can show on her. Here are the qualifications for students, it’s not open enrollment the child will have to try out for the spot. Children need to be between 11-17 years old, self sufficient, able to walk and trot (canter preferred but not required), tack up with little to no assistance, have a good and willing attitude! Students on the team get 2-4 hours of ride time every week including a big group practice with the whole team, it’s a fun environment that kids can learn to show in and they get way more hands on experience and knowledge about the horse as well as a group of friends to do it with. Due to some unforeseen circumstances with our current barn we will be relocating to keystone equestrian in bluffdale on February 15th. Keystone is a little over 5 minutes away from our current location so it is very close! There will be no lessons on February 15th, lessons will resume February 16th. We have some exciting news, after 5 months we have finally found a barn closer to where we used to teach! We will be moving to a very large and beautiful facility in LEHI! We will still have a large indoor arena for year round riding. To all our clients that stuck with us during our barn closing earlier this year THANK YOU! We are happy to move back much closer to our original location ❤️
We will be moving to Clementine Farms in Lehi September 1st (google says permanently closed because it is in the process of being renamed, the facility IS still open). We hope to stay here for a long time so hopefully no more moving.
