My stunning Maggie girl. ❤️ She’s going through a terrible 2’s phase right now (she will be 2 in May). She wants to be pushy and act like a nippy puppy. It comes with having a ton of confidence. Good thing she is kind and listens. She is so much like her dad it is crazy! 😂

I groomed this Beauty today. She has her woolly winter coat still. This girl has amazing hair! She is a more modern style of Friesian with long legs and neck that will pair well with my baroque stallion. Love her! 💗

Feleena is at 300 days! Her udder is pretty dang full already. I hope she hangs onto the baby for at least another 20 days.

Say what you will about mares, but I adore them! They all get along so well and are just so sweet. 💗 Also, Maggie looks so big next to Feleena now! She is growing like a w**d.

We have only a little over a month left until our new baby war horse makes an appearance!! I’m struggling with a name for the foal and so I’m reaching out for help! Baby will be half Friesian and half Gypsy Vanner. Sire is “Julian” and dam is “Zilver Feleena”. I am wanting a strong name as this will be registered as a North American Destrier Horse. I’m hoping for a silver dapple but could be also black. Some ideas I have had include “Jule” (jewel) to honor Dad, and the name will start with “ENF” for Equus Noir Friesians. (I have an obsession with Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, so names inspired by these are welcome.) Come on all you creative people, let’s hear your ideas! 😊

**WINDSWEPT**

This photo titled, "Windswept," taken three years ago with Wendy and her stunning boy, Matisse, at a shoot photographing several clients and models (shown here with model Kira Kahike) still resonates with me. It captured a moment of wild beauty and connection, and it even received accolades in an International Photography Competition.

It's also the inspiration for something special we've been working on: an initiative called Windswept. We're passionate about supporting local horse rescues, and we can't wait to share how this new initiative will make a difference.

We had the annual Utah All Breed High Point Banquet today and came home with a prize! 😊 It was Julian’s first show season under saddle and he won the Friesian horse high point award, meaning he had the most points from last year’s 3 shows. I’m so proud of him and his trainer Kelcie Beck of Excel Performance Horses! 🏆
