It’s almost that time folks! Here is the 2024 pre season update from AC/DC Taxidermy! New this season, I AM NOW DOING TAXIDERMY FULL TIME!

And it’s all because of you my amazing customers and supporters! With that being said, the remaining 15 heads from 2023 I have will be mounted before the end of the year! All capes are tanned and just need to go on the form. The handful of small mammal customers I got are in the works aswell! It’s taken longer than expected to finish up my previous work as transitioning to be a full time artist has been tricky. Despite the challenges I am getting geared up to do euros, shoulder mounts and of course small mammals! For those wanting to bring me your critters please CALL OR TEXT me beforehand so that we can get you schedualed in! For those about to hunt, we salute you! See y’all in the woods!

Look at this HEAVY buck headed home this week! I just LOVE doing local bucks! It was pretty great when I discovered that I had trailcamera pictures of this very buck at my house the same week a customer brought him in to the shop! Scott co bucks are the best and y’all should bring me more of them!

Turkeys are rolling in! The season may have just ended but I know that there are many tails and even full birds in the freezer! Let me make you a beautiful mount to commemorate your awesome harvest! Basic Tails are 100, Tails with feet and wings (or other extras) are 200, full birds start at $700. Help a new taxidermist grow her business!

More Turkey progress! These big birds require a lot of work to bring back to life! But it’s so worth it! Trying out a new head painting technique tonight, I’m liking the results so far but still has more to go! Got some back feathers on this full strut bird! It looking FLUFFY! STILL ACCEPTING BIRDS! Big boy going home! This is a great preview for anyone who has already brought me their buck! I keep getting better with ever critter I do! Have a buck you wanted mounted hanging out in your freezer? Well bring it to me and I can bring it back to life! Still open for mounts of all kinds!

TURKEY TAILS ARE MEATY! Can you get away with lopping off your tail putting sone salt on It and letting it dry? Yes for a while it may work, but within a year the fat in the tail will spoil, bugs may find the hidden morsel and destroy it or it may start to stink! And all us Turkey hunters know that getting one if these majestic birds is a wonderful challenge, so why let your keepsake go to waste! Bring me your tails for exceptional care! I clean my tails with the same process I would a full body mount. The tail pictured is about 75% clean and ready for the freezer! But look at all the gunk that came out of it!
