This is why it’s so important to educate your self before getting a puppy. Everyone wants a doodle but they don’t want to spend the time brushing or pay to get it groomed. If you make grooming apart of their lifestyle they will enjoy life even more. With heavy matted hair pulling on his skin can be painful and very hot. You could feel the heat coming off this dog once I got to the skin. So please make sure when choosing a breed you know what it takes to care for it. This is not my favorite thing to do but it was what was best for this sweet boy.

The Bluffton Veterinary Hospital is looking for a RELIABLE part time Groomer's Assistant. This position is for ONLY 2 - 3 days a week. Hours are 8:30 am until 4:00PM (could vary).

The applicant must be self motivated and hard working with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds as well as able to stand for long periods of time. Applicant must be good with dogs 🐶and cats 🐱of all sizes.

Groomer's Assistant job consists of, but not limited to:

🐾Bathing
🐾Drying
🐾Brushing
🐾Cleaning ears
🐾Laundry
🐾Cleaning throughout the day
🐾Filing grooming cards
