Once this snow is all gone I think we all deserve a nice day at the beach.

HOURS UPDATE.
We are doing our absolute best to staff the office to be able to serve our community. Tomorrow we are hoping to have staff from 10a-4/5p depending on how much sun we get.

Some of our staff simply cannot make it into the office. We will only be taking EMERGENCY appointments tomorrow.

These decisions are not being made with a light heart.

As we can not predict the future please be prepared for your pets needs. If you will be out of your pets medication or prescription food at any point in the next seven days, please call(843-837-2733), email([email protected]) or request refills on your pet portal. Do not wait until the last minute. In the event we are unable to serve you as this winter weather heads our way.

We will do our best to remain open, but our staff safety is important.

🐾 ADOPTED 🐾

These sweet little babies were born on August 16th! They are all about 3 pounds, and are extremely well socialized. They are great with cats, dogs, children, busy environments, and loud noises.

They are not only playful, but incredibly loving. They love to cuddle each other as well as people!

PAWS Center is the future home of Buckwalter Veterinary Clinic and A Place to Paws Luxury Boarding, coming 2025! The future facility will be located just two minutes down the road from BVC (499 Buckwalter Place Blvd).

Jess, Veterinary Assistant

Jess is originally from Michigan, and lived in Washington until she moved to Beaufort in 2020. She attended South University for CMA. Jess joined BVC as a Tech Assistant in March of 2024, and she is currently enrolled at Penn Foster to become an LVT.

She has one dog and two cats. Outside of work she enjoys working out, cooking and baking from scratch. She's also a huge bookworm, and a lover of the Star Wars and DC universes—her animals are even named after DC characters!

Kalee, Veterinary Assistant

Kalee obtained her BS in Biochemistry from Georgia Southern University in 2021 and began working at Buckwalter Veterinary Clinic shortly thereafter. The favorite parts of her job include the constant learning environment and getting to know the individual personalities and needs of patients.

In her free time she enjoys reading, doing word puzzles, and spending time with her husband, son, daughter, and their six dogs.
