While my own herd is inactive.. I still want to hype of other farms!

I was going to wait until Monday to officially post this but due to some recent “comments”, I decided to do so now.

Due to some very personal reasons I really don’t wish to discuss over Facebook, I have had to re-home all of my herd and my goat things. They are ALL accounted for by amazing homes that I carefully selected (and I mean CAREFULLY).

The four main breeding age and quality animals (Peach, Cruz, Moosey, and Shiraz) all went to my dear friend Amber Everson who will continue on with their LA, milk testing, and showing. The two other gals went to some amazing quality retirement homes where they will have the best care possible.

This decision weighed really hard on my soul but in the end, me deciding to move from my family home and into town closer to my college and friends is what’s best for me and my mental health.

If anyone is upset over this or want more info, contact me directly and we can have a discussion. This wasn’t easy for me but I know right now a lot of things are, and need to be, more important to me.

Thank you all so much for the love and support (and guidance) I have received in the goat community. I will still he apart of it for my knowledge and of course the cute goat pictures! Hopefully after college I can pick back up where I left off.

Those of you who pandemic panic purchased chickens, ducks, turkey, and other livestock, know that I'm set up and willing to take them or find them a replacement Farm if you find yourself in a position unable to provide further care for them or if you simply cannot manage it. You can message me privately and there is no judgement. I would rather see them placed in an Agricultural Farm then have them dumped somewhere to fend for themselves as we are starting to see happen. If you simply need advice for care, message me as well. DUMPING THEM IS NOT THE ANSWER. They are domestic animals and do not belong in the wild. Located in Southern, Oregon but I will help relocate anywhere!

Just wanted to let everyone local know that this fall and winter, I will be offering my bucks for stud to clean and tested does only! This could be an awesome opportunity to bring some amazing genetics into your herd! Both of these boys come from heavy milkers!

Upon further research.. I have an ANDDA Total Performer in the herd!! Tiramisu won her total performer award in 2015! She also completed her CH status and AR star as a FF! She’s so impressive ❤️

Busy busy weekend ahead! Tomorrow we head out to deliver three kids to new families in Cali! Then Monday I head out to get my other buckling all the way from Idaho! I’ll be back Tuesday and will hopefully have a $100 box of dairy making goodies on my doorstep! A yogotherm, yogurt culture, butter culture, and some rennet and citric acid for mozzarella! My first batch of chèvre should be coming next week :)

Hey all!! Goats are settling down and the milks increasing! I’m not to the stage of making cheese yet, so is anyone interested in raw goats milk? Can be picked up in Klamath Falls or Bly.
