Tis the season.... for all the kennel cough

DAYCARE WILL BE CLOSING THURSDAY 8/21 AND FRIDAY 8/22 TO STOP THE SPREAD.

We are posting out of EXTREME CAUTION!! Our #1 priority is the health of our dogs.

We are hearing reports of kennel cough starting to circulate in the NEA area. The Ruff House has had a few dogs start to show signs as well. As a precaution daycare will be closed Thursday and Friday to stay ahead of it. What most of the dogs so far have experienced is a cough/hack.

Even though we clean like crazy, it usually hits this time of year when the dogs have to be inside more with it being so hot outside. If your dog starts showing signs, we recommend staying in contact with your vet to see if they can give anything to help the symptoms. We are also constantly communicating with our vet to see if we can do anything extra to help the situation.

If experiencing symptoms, you'll need to keep your dog home until they have not been coughing for at least 3 days. We are closing down tomorrow and Friday to deep clean the back and make sure all the germs are GONE!! DOG BOARDING schedules will remain the same! The daycare will be back open on Monday!!
