Looking for a forever kind of love? Have a Heart- adopt a heartworm positive shelter pet! ❤️ Adoption fees for all heartworm positive pets are waived for the entire month of February. The fee for all other pets is $14, today through February 28th. 🐾

Heartworms are treatable and are not contagious. ❤️‍🩹 They are parasites that are usually transmitted to pets by infected mosquitos. Columbia Animal Services will provide heartworm treatment to any adopted pet at no cost to their new family.
