I got some bad news the day before my birthday. Chynas breeding was not successful. The first time since I started breeding in 2019 I had an unsuccessful breeding. Not sure if she misses her main man Remy, or it was the stress of an unplanned trip to Louisville to do the breeding. The worst part about breeding is having to tell the families that were expecting a puppy that it’s not going to be. 😢So last years litter will be her last. On a positive note, Dublynn and I will be hitting the show circuit this winter and trying to get her Championship this year. I’m Turning lemons into lemonade.

The trials and tribulations of a dog breeder. Was in Philly for the national dog show and of course Chyna came into heat the week before. I had to hire a friend to take her for the 3 hour round trip for her first progesterone. Took her back today and they want to do the A/I tomorrow. The stud owner took him to collect today but he wanted no part of it without a “real bitch” he could see , smell and touch. So tomorrow we will be making the 6 hour drive to KY to be in person, up close and personal. im so tired of driving. Chyna has never done the “ personal thing” Praying this isn’t going to be a wasted 12 hour round trip. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Zurie stepped up to the plate today to give us a major at the national show. Her first akc show. Her goal was not to get dismissed for bad behavior. Except for taking a huge p**p in the ring, and not real cooperative with judges exam , she did her job. Tomorrow hopefully no p**ping and a little calmer.
