Frugal 2025 Project:

This year I'm attacking the budget at both ends. I want us to meet our investing goals. So we find ways to make money BUT also how do we hold onto our money? I have a huge list which I'll add in the notes. Today I'm cutting up old clothes to make wrags. I don't want to be part of the throw away society and constantly buying paper products. Shirley and I will also learn to make our own soap and shampoo. Let me know some of the things you do to be frugal. I would love to add to my list

I'm really messed up physically but I'm still a dreamer. After my MRI I found my back is substantially worse than the previous MRI. 3 ruptured discs, 2 of which are large, 3 bulging disc, DDD, spinal stenosis, a huge chunk of arthritis and a deformed disc in my neck 😂 I probably should not have tried to be a chicken farmer. Whoopsie. BUT me and Shirley are coming up with a new plan for 2025. We still have chickens and ducks that aren't yet laying but we're going to move in a different direction. Chris is super busy with his new job so we're left to our own devices. Hopefully things go well. Pray for Shirley, her crippled mom has big dreams for her. 😃 She is such a great worker I couldn't get through my day without her. So I may change this page since it's already established.

Every time I look out in the yard I give myself a small heart attack because there's feathers everywhere, I keep thinking a chicken is dead or getting mangled. But they're molting. I got to stop doing that to myself 😆🤦

This is an example of a phone scam call center in india. This is what a lot of people don't understand, this isn't some fat 40 year old man living in his mom's basement making fake profiles and scamming people on the internet. Or teenagers joking around for easy money. Sure that does happen but the majority of scammers are professionals. These people are professional scammers, in India they open "businesses" up for the sole purposes of scamming Americans and other countries. They train the employee's to scam us. So when someone tells me that I'm not allowed to teach other Americans what these scammers are doing or tell other Americans that watermarks aren't going to protect their pictures and watermarks aren't guarantees that you're talking to a legitimate business because I'm giving away scammer secrets. 😆😆😆🤦 I realize how naive or stupid they are. They must seriously not realize that this is the level that the scammers are working on. There are no scammer secrets, I'm not training people or scammers on how to scam they already have full on businesses that do that. I'm trying to find the other video that I run across occasionally where there's three people sitting in a room with hundreds of phones attached to one computer, and this one computer controls dozens, hundreds, and sometimes thousands of Facebook profile pages all being generated by bots or AI. Trust me, me telling people that watermarks aren't going to keep you safe is not teaching these scammers anything. They are so technologically savvy that I can't even fathom what they're doing

Another one gets blocked. She was getting eight pullets off light and one broody hen for $100. I can't believe the audacity of people. If she were to go to rural King and buy herself some Easter egger "pullets" she's guaranteed to get at least one rooster because they may say that they have bins full of pullets but they lie. They can't tell that early. Easter Eggers at rural King are 5.99 a piece plus 10% tax. So she will be paying $6.59 for each of eight presumably female birds. 1 to 7 days old. At that rate she's already at $52.72. these chicks are going to eat about 2 oz a day per chick which means over the period of 8 weeks she will need one full bag of chick starter which is $19.99 a bag plus a small 10 # bag. They're going to eat 56 lb of food. So that's $30 for feed. Now we're at $102.71. She's going to need a setup that can hold eight chicks for 8 weeks which is about 10 sq ft. Not sure what the cost is going to be on that but we can easily assume $100, bare minimum. There's a very small one on Amazon but I suspect it only holds like two chicks because it is very small. She actually needs about 10 sq ft space to properly grow the chicks out. They need one square foot minimum per chick to keep them from being overcrowded and getting sick. And enough space for them to get away from their heat source so they don't overheat and die. The $100 teeny one on Amazon does come with a small drinker, waterer and a heat plate. Probably not big enough for 8 chicks. Now we're at $202.71. If she changes the bedding out bare minimum amount of times she needs two bags of shavings for 8 weeks, after tax those are about $7.50 a piece. We're at $217.71. Add about $5 for the cost of electricity for those 8 weeks to keep that heat plate running. That kind of heat plates probably too small for all those chicks anyway. So she would need to buy a bigger heat plate, I personally use the heat lamps because even though they cost more they're better for the birds. My heat lamps cost me about $2 a day to run them. And that's not counting replacement bulbs or when they break and I have to buy new ones which is frequently. We're at $222.71. This isn't even counting any permanent infrastructure, it's not counting dewormer or any other medicines they might need. It's not counting water. Water costs money too. So her cost would be $27.84 to raise eight pullets for 8 weeks but $10 is too expensive to pay me. Even if she has a setup already to go she'd still be out over $15 per bird. Yep $100 for eight pullets and a broody hen was too expensive for her. Smdh. If I continue to sell I'm getting my npip and I'm shipping to people that will actually pay fair costs. Otherwise, I'm just going to do this for fun and the only people getting my chicks are people that I like. I'm not going to advertise them. I said it before, I will eat my birds before I sell them for less than what I believe they're worth. I have very fair prices

So this Jennifer person posted this in the Blue egg group and I informed people that not only are scammers faking water marks but they're cloning pages and stealing people's photos and adding their own water marks and my comment was removed? The only way to fight back against scammers is to educate the masses, we all need to be aware of their strategies and removing comments is shady and doesn't help any of us. Y. Alford. Sorry if I completely debunked your entire watermark argument but facts are facts. Watermarks do not stop scammers. Not to mention photo shop, they just wipe them clean and no a screen shot will not save your watermark.

Giving people bad information under the justification that you're "just trying to help" others is not ignorance it's negligence. When doctors were giving covid jabs out to people and the second they found out that they were harming them they should have stopped giving the covid shot. Any doctor that did has my respect. Any doctor that didn't is a piece of crap. What Jennifer should have done in the face of factual information that proved her wrong that could actually hurt the 43,000 members of her group was redact her statement, apologize, and say never mind this is actually not as useful as I thought it was. End of story. Not harass, threaten, suspend and block people for contradicting her claims. At no point was I disrespectful, only informational
