Lambs are officially moved out of the barn!

The special lady looking at the camera is Firecracker aka 2500 she earned her name shortly after she was born…. She was running laps around their pen before her brother was even standing 😂. She is sure going to be one to be reckoned with!

Tim said I could get one whiteface fall ewe so I agreed….and then got 3 ewes 🤷‍♀️

Welcome these ladies (names are currently in the works)! Coming from Liggett Livestock in Kansas and Paulson Club Lambs in Wisconsin we have big plans for these ladies future. So excited to get different blackface genetics and expanding our DA herd!

2 mini calves looking for a new home (with updated pictures )

One steer (red 38) and one heifer (blue 47). All calves were worked by the vet 11/25/25 and were given vista once,vision 7 somnus, nasalgen, and dectomax. They were both dehorned when they were worked. Feed them out, use them to train dogs, or tame them down to keep! Pm for more information

Bred mini 2022 Hereford mix cow looking for a new herd!

She has had 2 calves and is bred back to a Hereford bull. Preg checked by the vet today and given Vira Shield 6 + VL5 HP, Dectomax injectable, and ultraboss pour on. Video of her is in the comments Pm for more information!

Our last two ai ewes had today! Like my dad said we are going to take this 100% conception rate and run with it this year! Can’t wait to add these new genetics to our herd with it being our first year of doing ai. Keep an eye out for these lambs in a few months! 😊

Now just waiting on Frank, Turbo, and Willis babies!

Tim and I feel truly blessed to have this many lambs!

Baby Maker had triplets last year and is the ewe that was questioned if she took to the ai…well it isn’t a question anymore. We have another set of triplets, but this time from Riverboat Ron! 🤯

3 ewes and 8 lambs in counting!

We think the ewes heard that we were in Texas for a family wedding, so they decided to get in cahoots to have while we were gone. We feel beyond lucky right now…the vet said there was two on ultrasound and out popped 3! Now have 5 lambs from FAFO and still have one more ewe to go!

We are so thankful to family and friends yesterday and today are that are keeping an eye on these lambs until we get back!

Baby watch has officially started 📣… Our first FAFO lambs hit the ground tonight! It might be cold outside, but they are sure toasty inside the barn. ❄️

Baby watch will begin shorty!

✅ Feed is mixed up and ground (the ewes favorite part of lambing)

✅ New barn cameras installed (best tv show out there)

✅ ewes with the biggest bags have been moved in (just happened to be all of our Lai ewes 🤞)

The cold air is coming in and before long it will be lambing time! We figured we would introduce the sires for this upcoming lamb crop!

Besides the handful of ewes that we did ai with the rest of our herd was bred by these three rams Frank, Willis, and Turbo. We are extremely excited about lambs out of all three of them. Frank has moved on to other ladies, so this is the last crop from him at our place. However, Willis and Turbo are just getting started and both of them will have their first lamb crop this winter/fall!
