Following on from the news that a school banned a child with autism participating in a school trip I feel the need to write this. There are boys and girls that nobody invites to birthdays for example. There are kids who want to belong to a team but don't get selected because it is more important to win than include these children. Children with special needs are not rare or strange, they only want what everyone else wants: to be accepted !! 😡Can I ask a question?? Is there anyone willing to copy and paste this post to their wall without sharing it, like I did for a friend?? 💯💯💯🙏🙏🙏🧩🧩🧩

We did it again today!! Best of winners! We had a total of 9 Belgians sheepdogs today, I am SO proud of her!!!!!

Today was a special day for Sky and me, with 8 Belgian sheepdogs in the ring and we came in second place/best of winners! The group was stunning, with 6 champions and 1 other class dog.

Bentleigh finished 5th grade today from Herff Elementary in Boerne, Tx. He is going to middle school next August! He has come light years away from the little boy he was when we started this journey with BISD. Thank you so much to every person involved in this process, it was a tough one. We are so greatful for the special needs curriculum available with the district, every student on that journey will have a solid foundation for their future🙌

READY FOR THE PATH OF TOTALITY IN BOERNE, TX

At 6:30am today, I saw a mountain lion in my driveway! The reflection from the school bus shined on this beautiful creature about the size of a labrador retriever. It was still very dark outside, it was at least 20 feet from me and same color as the picture with the white throat and chest, it was looking directly at me.

What was unmistakable was the long, elegant tail. I didn't get to see the paws or ears much, it was gone in a flash.

Over the years, we have found tracks and feline skeleton remnants but this was a sighting of a lifetime! This is not my picture but it was very similar in size.
