I’m not asking for donations anymore. I’m done. I give up. I will continue to work hard and struggle to keep the ones I have fed the best I can. I will adopt out some that are still with me but I can not let them go to just anyone. It’s so hard to trust people. If you are a flipper or have bad intentions then please save me some time and just don’t message me.
To everyone who has helped us in the past with feed, donations, shared and liked thank you so much. I appreciated it all. The donations that did come in spared me a few days here and there of sleepless nights from worrying about how I was going to buy feed. Thank you for that. Anyway I tried as long as I could. It’s impossible to do it alone. I will take my page down in a few weeks.

Often times we see big piles of halters that have been removed off of slaughter bound horses, today I would like to show you what it looks like when the hind shoes of slaughter horses are pulled, you see their hind shoes are taken off to reduce risk of injury to the horses they are loaded into with in the slaughter truck, so not to injure the other horses and to reduce the risk of bruising the meat of the live horse. I would like you to notice the two shoes that show you the horses part of their side walls still attached to the shoes, slaughter bound horses don't have the luxury of having their shoes taken off like a normal horses, there isn't time to properly do this, so they are literally pried off with parts of the horses hoof and if you notice you will still see nails attached. Once a horse enters the slaughter pipeline they are stripped of everything including dignity, care, compassion, halters and shoes removed and a layer of glue is applied with a " kill tag" the horse no longer has a name, its lost its identity, the only value left is its meat nothing else matters. On the particular day I took these photos there were two large plastic bins filled to the brim with shoes, those were the victims from the last six months. I show you these images so that we never forget that tag number 5420 was a living creature, a horse who had value before ending up being shipped to a slaughter plant never to be heard of or seen again.
We must remember the innocents, and continue to fight the good fight.
In honor of our equine friends.

It’s that time again that Dreamers could use a little help with feed. It can be purchased from Crossroads Feed. The stock and stable is $10.95 a bag. Green and blue, and the Ware Range cubes are $13.95 a bag. The horses eat 2-3 bags a day along with their hay. The horses at Dreamers would be so grateful! Also if anyone would like to come out and visit the horses that would be great too. Just message me. We are located in Bogalusa, La. Thank you all so much. We can’t make it without your help!!

PLEASE HELP US!!! 🐴🐴❗️‼️‼️‼️
I am asking for help from Rescues or Sancuaries only at this time. I can no longer financially keep up by myself. I have horses that have a lot of potential in general. If anyone has any room to take in one or even two of my Rescues it would help so much. I am asking for help. I do not have perfect jump on and ride like a dream horses. So many are broke to ride and gentle as they come but have flaws. Some are lame but can still live a good life. I do not have the means to transport any long distances. You will have to come pick up. I work 2 jobs and have very little off time. I work to feed and care for the rescues and I am strapped. I need help. My rescues need help. If interested please message me. If not then please share and ask around.

Hello everyone. Dreamers has a few horses up for adoption. With that being said, I need a few things to be understood about these horses. These are beautiful souls looking for their forever homes. Some are lame, hard to catch, easy to catch, possibly rideable, maybe not rideable, dominant, great with other horses, etc. These babies were at one point taken to a sale barn, or possibly have been through a few sale barns. They have been in the slums of the kill pens.
If you are looking for just a good companion horse to love and brush and give a place to live out the rest of their days in peace, then we can talk.
If you are looking to get a cheap horse to flip, or get for a few weeks and decide you don’t want it then take to sale barn, or if you truly want a horse but can’t afford to feed and care for every day then please don’t message me.
I will make sure that they go to good loving homes only!! These horses deserve better. They have been through enough. If truly interested in giving one of these beautiful souls a forever home please message me. I will discuss reasonable adoption fee. Thank you.

I just wanted to say Thank You to everyone for all the help and support the rescue has received this past week. I am overwhelmed by all the efforts made by everyone. There are currently 19 rescues at Dreamers. Some are adoptable and some are not. Either way they all deserve a chance. None of this was their fault. I am tired but every ounce of tiredness is so worth it. It’s hard to ask for help. I do not like it at all. I have done most of it alone. Sometimes it gets overwhelming. It will be ok though.
Again thank you so much for all the help. Any and all help is greatly appreciated !!
I have been working a lot but will be going to get feed Monday morning. I will post pics when I get it. ❤️🐎🐴

This is Teddy. He is a permanent resident at Dreamers. He came from Bastrop kill pen. He has come a long way. Teddy and the other horses are in need of a little help with feed this week. Our farm mom has worked until she is nearly dead. We do as much as we can on our own but sometimes we need a little help. Thank you so much for all the likes, shares, donations, and everything else. We appreciate everything. We need basic sweet feed from tractor supply, alfalfa pellets, beet shreds, and TC senior feed for the elderly and special guys who need extra help. Any donations would be appreciated.
You can order from tractor supply or

The horses at Dreamers are in desperate need of feed. I have covered the hay myself but we need a little help with feed cost. It’s $10.95 a 50lb bag and I feed 2 bags a day. If anyone could help us out a bit. We are still needing help with farrier but I’ll figure that out. Please if you can help at all that would be great. Thank you.
