Beverly Azamar (Yellow Breeches Guild member and past president) presented the Foundry Day awards to high school seniors. The Technical Education Award went to Elaina Anderson.
Here's what her tech ed teacher had to say about Elaina:
"Hard working, dedicated, striving for perfection are ways in which I would describe Elaina Anderson. I have known Elaina for four years; I had her in Photography 1, Photography 2, Graphic Communications 1, and Graphics Communications 2. She has been a member of our TSA chapter for three years and has held multiple officer positions. She is not afraid to ask questions or volunteer answers. She continually added a new perspective to class conversations and discussions. She is a hard working dedicated individual that takes pride in her work.
Elaina has taken her knowledge from the classroom into the world. She does photography and promotional work for one of her after school jobs. She has also assisted in running numerous fundraisers for our local TSA chapter. She currently is serving as our chapter Historian. She is actively involved with multiple different clubs and organizations. She is growing as a leader, who excels at critical thinking and problem solving.
Elaina is a very promising student, who has represented the best of what TSA stands for. I, whole heartedly, endorse her for the Laura Hummel Outstanding Technology Student Scholarship. I wish Elaina the best of luck in everything she does."
Congratulations and Good Luck, Elaina!!
