We appreciate everyone’s patience as we’ve been a little MIA! Between an office move, the weather, and our health (tis the season 🤦🏼‍♀️), we’ve been a bit out of date! Enjoy Aries eating his candy cane! He sure does love them! Auriela and Shae didn’t think they were good 😅 so he may have gotten extras, haha. Shae is also fighting an eye infection at the moment that, luckily, we had meds on hand to help with! Hopefully it clears up soon! We are currently in mud season here in the treasure valley and all horse owners know, it’s our least favorite time of year. We hope it’ll dry up a bit soon, but until then, everyone is dirty and traversing the nasty mud. We will a be posting a 2024 recap soon and our goals for 2025! Today is ivingtuesday and to celebrate we will be donating $15,000 back to local non-profits in the community! We are excited to announce that 3 non-profits chosen by you will each receive $5,000! We would like your help deciding which organizations to donate to!

It’s we may be small, but we still could use a helping hand helping the horses we have! Both near and far! We have two sanctuary horses here in Idaho and one in Colorado! And we have our rescue girl, Auriela, here with the herd! Any amount helps to get them the supplements and medications needed to keep them happy and healthy! We also have farrier care, dentals, vaccinations, and hay that all donations go towards!

Farrier care ranges from $60-175 per horse depending on if they can stay barefoot or need shoes. This is every six to eight weeks.

Vaccinations are around $100 per horse. More if they’re young and healthy enough to get a strangles vaccine.

Dentals are around $175 per horse per year. Add an extra $10 for the geldings to get their sheaths cleaned.

Medications and supplements are upwards to $200 a month.

Housing for them is $125 per horse, per month. Not including feed!

We have been very grateful this year to all our generous donors who have helped us to bail Auriela from the kill pen, those who donated haEquine KindergartenGirls were surrendered to us, to CBS2 news for covering our liStella's Shelter Funduary, to Equine Kindergarten for giving Auri the chance to learn under their care, and to Stella's Shelter Fund for everything they have done for us and continue to do for us and other rescues around!!! We are also very thankful to all of our supporters and friends who keep us lifted up when we feel lost. 🥹💜

Brought the big girl home after a month away at Equine kindergarten! She learned so much while she was there and we will continue to work with her on our homework until she goes to the next trainer! We have a wonderful trainer lined up to take her on the next steps in her journey. We will be preparing funds to get her there, but in the meantime, she gets to be home and work on her homework and enjoy time with the herd!

And a short update on Miss Auriela! She’s still trucking along through Equine Kindergarten!! Making leaps and bounds every day!! We can’t wait to see her next week for a visit! We snagged this picture from their page of her wearing a sheet! We are so proud of her progress so far!
