I'm so happy for Zelda's Dog Academy LLC . They have moved into our old place in Bozeman Montana. If you need boarding for your pups please give her a call. It's definitely bittersweet but I'm so happy that this is still a place for happy doggies ❤️

We've had a good 3 years at this beautiful place and have had some wonderful customers. Unfortunately it's time for us to go a different path. I will miss all my wonderful customers and those sweet doggies. We will be officially closing next week. We are saying goodbye to Montana ❤️

Ok. Very long PSA: I've been getting quite a few calls for new dogs so probably need to update how I work....

I normally groom 6-8 dogs a day. (To keep my prices fair,but to also pay bills).

I make my appointment times @ 9, 10 &11am. I work on getting the first appointment out first and so on.

I don't do express grooming (I'm not a grooming drive through)

I take my time and do it right.
(Some days it takes longer)

I work with live animals and people's beloved pets.

I have my own dogs to take care of where I also live and work.

I can't always answer the phone. (Text is probably best).

I work Tuesday -friday and 1 Saturday a month. (I'm getting old 😭)

I am no longer taking dogs over 100lbs. Or once a year dogs.

No show fees are 50% of the total groom.

If you show up before I'm done with your dog from now on, I will send it home unfinished. I don't like to be rushed when working with sharp equipment on a moving animal. And most of the time once your dog sees you then it no longer is cooperative with me.

If I know ahead of time that you need your dog done by a certain time,I will be more than happy to accommodate and plan the day so I can make that happen.

I really try hard to accommodate everyone and do my very best job. When these things happen constantly it definitely weighs on my inner peace.
I love all my wonderful clients and would like to stick with this for a few more years ❤️

My shop number is also my personal phone. Please be courteous of my personal life. No texts or calls on my days off ( Saturday-Monday). I take these days to not think about work by spending time with my own dogs or family. It's harder for me to have balance when this happens, especially when I get texts anywhere from 4 am - 7 am & 9 pm - 12 am. That goes for my personal page as well. I enjoy my job but sometimes I feel like I don't get a day off. This creates burn outs and makes working emotionally difficult for me.
I'm also not boarding big dogs at this time. I will be making some changes in the coming months as far as no shows and appointment times.
I do work one Saturday a month,but those times are limited and there may be an extra fee for that Saturday.
I'm going on 26 years of grooming and getting a little older,my body needs a break sometimes.
Thank you for understanding and your pups are important to me as well as my mental and physical health ❤️

If your boarding, training or doggie daycare facility doesn't have an actual groomer to wash your dog absolutely do not let them WASH YOUR DOG!! We've been maintaining this beautiful coat for some time now and now this 🥺

PawFection is having to do a price increase. Due to the increase in costs of products, supplies and equipment maintenance.
I understand times are tough for everyone, the price increase is everywhere. I want to continue to give you and your pups consistent quality grooming while being able to stay afloat myself and keep my business alive. I have also implemented a no show fee. If an appointment is missed 50% of the grooming fee is due.
I understand roads and weather are a factor sometimes and depending on the situation I am understanding.

Hello everyone! I’m sorry to announce I am no longer accepting NEW doodle clients. If you are a regular or made an appointment with me prior to this post please disregard.
My schedule is so full with doodles that I don’t have time for new dogs/clients, I want to be able to accommodate to my other clients as well.
I may even be referring some of the bigger doodles out (The one's bigger than me anyway)

Sharing my daughter's post because I have realized after 20+ years of grooming that I do have a life outside of grooming. I absolutely love what I do, but feel like I'm always working. I get texts all hours of the day and night, even when I try to take a vacation. I am grateful for every customer, but I do try to enjoy my personal time. Please be respectful when scheduling your grooming appointments. My day consists of grooming, spending time with my own dogs and having time with my partner. My working hours are Tuesdays-Fridays 9-4. I do open one Saturday a month and try to accommodate everyone's needs. As my daughter said, your pups are important to me as well as my mental health ❤. Thank you for understanding 🐾🐕🐾
