We hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving.
But now it’s time to really celebrate.. and what better way to do so than an entire weekend of different types of feedings.
Friday -Day 1- Monitor Lizards and Small Constrictors 12p-4p
Saturday - Day 2- Giant Pythons 12p-4p
Sunday - Day 3- Alligators 2 o’Croc

And don’t forget… Black Friday have Family Memberships marked down to $100!!!

Hey guys!!!!
It’s finally here!!!
It’s time for Fall Break!!!
Which does not just mean it’s time for Thanksgiving…
that means we are OPEN ALL WEEK LONG!!!!!
Now we couldn’t just be open, we had to plan some fun activities for you!
So…
Saturday we are bringing back the BIG SQUEEZE at 2p
Sunday we always have our Alligator feeding at 2 o’CROC
Monday we have LIVE Rattlesnake Keeper Talks at 12p and 4p
Tuesday is all about Lizard Enrichment at 12p and 4p
Wednesday we will have the baby alligators out for an EDU-Gator Experience at 12p and 4p
Thursday being Thanksgiving we will be here until 2pm
Friday is a big day…
Being Black Friday, for one day we are marking our Family Memberships down from $175 all the way down to $100.
Plus Friday starts our Feeding Weekend! With Smaller Snakes and Lizards at 12p and 4p Wednesday
Saturday for Day 2 we are feeding the Giant Pythons at 12p and 4p
Sunday for Day 3 we will be feeding the Alligators at 2 o’CROC

We hope to see everyone there, whether it’s one day or all of them! We are so thankful for each and every one of you and can’t wait to show you just how much!

I can’t believe we never shared this…
While transporting our large water monitor, Richard, during our recent move we thought he would like the comfort of a warm and dark tote for the car ride.
However Richard had a different idea.
It’s definitely a good thing him and Aspen get along so well.

This Saturday is Steve Irwin Day!!
As a way to celebrate everyone’s favorite wildlife warrior… if you show up to the zoo in any kind of KHAKI you will receive unlimited turtle feedings!
And maybe even something a little extra! 🐊

Hey Guys!!!
Big news!!!
You’ve been asking for it!
We are now on YouTube!!!!
We have tried to start a channel in the past, but people we have had in charge of the channel have gone on to bigger and better things. So now we are gonna run it as a team.
You can expect shorts, fun videos, educational videos, enclosure remodels and so much more.
But since we are new at this, can you guys let us know who you are watching or what kind of videos you are watching so we know what you like. 🙂

We hope everyone had a fun and safe Trick or Treating!!!!

But Halloween isn’t over just yet.
For everyone who wants to wear that amazing costume just one more time… everyone wearing their costume this weekend gets DOUBLE TURTLE AND TORTOISE FEEDINGS!!!

Plus we are gonna bring back everyone’s favorite…. ALLIGATOR FEEDINGS SUNDAY AT 2PM!!!!

GIGANTIC NEWS!!!
You’ve been asking when it was going to happen!
You’ve been telling us how bad your students miss it!
We’ve tried our best to live without it!
But we missed it just too much….
WE ARE TRAVELING OUT TO SCHOOLS AGAIN!!!!!
This is something that helped build the zoo into what it is today. And with our new seasonal schedule we are finally able to come see you guys again.
So whether it’s a classroom, assembly, field trip, carnival, or whatever fun activity you have going on. We want to be there.

Don’t forget we do still offer field trips to our location as well!

Alright, it's time to get back to the good news updates!!! Let's get back to what this is all about... we'll keep you posted on other stuff as it develops, but we know you're really here for these amazing animals.
And what better news to get us back on track with then Douglas MAKING HER NEST!!!!
A few weeks ago, we noticed Douglas and Gomer were acting pretty lovey. So we added some grass clippings to their enclosure, just in case.
And it turns out we were right.
Douglas, all on her own, has piled up all of this dirt, mud, and grass and even tried some pond liner 🤦‍♂️under her heat lamp to make sure her eggs would be nice and warm.
We are expecting her to deposit her eggs ANY DAY!!!
But we'll keep you posted in case any one would want to come be a part of the fun!
