Very proud of this girl today! She’s been getting grooms at the vet under sedation and I decided to try and give it a shot and see if we could change things for her and her family. Today was successful. She comes with a lot of spice and sass once she hears those buzzers start, a lot of today was hand scissor work just to get her to even trust me. The first 10 minutes of trying I couldn’t get anywhere near her face or body without her screaming and trying to run away from me. But I just kept trying over and over and over again. She reacted so well to white noise, so to finish I turned the fan on really high so she couldn’t focus on exactly what I was doing, and I had my friend Aubri rub her face while I did her feet and legs. She calmed down almost instantly and let me finish the entire groom. I was so proud of her.

Khylo gets to come home today! Doc says his sutures are healed, and he’s peeing as he normally should.. this month long trip for khylo has costed us $2,800. 😳 I’m going to be posting lots of dog related items for sale, and if anyone would like to prepay your grooms please let me know. Or if you find it kind enough to donate directly, he was at Animal Medical Center in Emmett. This is going to be a rough rollercoaster of bills for the next few months but at least he is healthy and coming home ❤️🐾 for that I couldn’t be more thankful

Please be patient with me about scheduling and appointments right now.. I’m kind of all over the place, not being a good business owner, rescheduling appointments or taking awhile to get back to people. Khylo has taken a turn for the worst and his body is filling up with fluid after emergency surgery.. his vet is in Emmett and we live in mountain home so I have been barely sleeping, or driving to and from Emmett as much as possible or whenever the vet recommends I do. Khylo is not even a year old and was a rescue kitten we had nabbed from garden valley by the dumpsters last October. We love him dearly and this has been really hard for not just me and my daughter but extremely hard on me.. especially with my daughter’s teen birthday coming up this weekend. Things are just really hard right now and I’ve been trying to prepare myself for the worst but still remaining hopeful which is a really horrible feeling to have all at the same time

My sweet sweet khylo has a urinary obstruction and is in kidney failure.. I am offering grooms up to anybody who has it in their heart to donate towards his care. We spent all night at westvet and I am now transferring him over to animal medical center in Emmett with Dr. Dan. This care from what I’m reading can range anywhere from $2,000-$6,000. And we’re already 1/3 of that spent so far. I can’t bring myself to give up on him, he’s barely a year old. And if you have had the privelage of meeting khylo you’d know he deserves a fighting chance. He’s the sweetest, most loving kitty ever who would give me his world if he was able to.

Can anyone help foster a lab who is pregnant. Would be fostering through Lake Lowell Animal Rescue while she has her babies and placement homes are found after everyone is vetted.
