Gem Crest Kennels

All-breed boarding and grooming Opened in 1973, Gem Crest Kennels is owned and operated by Mona Allison and staffed by caring, knowledgeable employees.

We are a charter member of the Pet Care Services Association, (formerly the American Boarding Kennel Association), through whom all employees have been certified as Pet Care Technicians. Our main priority is the safety and happiness of your pet left in our care during your absence. We encourage pet owners to tour our facility to further educate themselves on the boarding process and to become familiar with the staff who will be caring for their pet.

This handsome guy Ranger boarded with us for the first time and he loved every minute of it as much as we loved having him stay.

A lot of people wonder if boarding their young puppy is a good idea. In short, YES! Not just because we adore puppies as much as our other boarders, but because it's a fantastic way to socialize them with people. We've had several puppies stay with us and almost all of them leave extremely happy and had a great stay! Plus, because we don't ever put dogs together that are outside the same family we don't require them to be spayed/neutured!

There’s nothing more encouraging to me than helping pups get through struggles. This big boy was wary of strangers when he came in and we all worked together to get him much more comfortable with the staff! Here’s to another win!

Hey everyone! We are already filling up quick for Spring Break in March!! Make sure to give us a call to ensure you've got a spot in our kennel! For summertime, we suggest at least a month's notice for a stay. We fill up super fast as soon as school is let out for summer! ☀️☀️🏖
