If you haven't had the chance to meet her already, we would like to introduce you to Dr. Carnahan. She has been with us for a year so this introduction is a little late. But none the less, we want to make a formal introduction as we love having her part of the team! Here is a little about Dr. Carnahan.

Dr. Carnahan grew up in the Midwest, living in Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania for majority of her childhood. Her family then moved to Utah during high school, and she later attended Utah State University in Logan for her Bachelor’s in Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Science. She then attended Washington State University where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She has two dogs of her own, Dax and Zuko who she loves to adventure with.
Dr. Carnahan’s passions include exotic and wildlife medicine, small animal internal medicine, cardiology, nutrition, and surgery.

Dr. Carnahan has loved working at Eastgate Pet Clinic and is excited to be part of your pet’s healthcare team!

Our Story

Eastgate Pet Clinic is a veterinary hospital located in the East end of Boise, Idaho. Established in 1986, we have been focused on companion animal medicine, primarily dogs and cats, for the past 25 years. We are open six days a week to meet your pet care needs. Monday through Friday we are open at 7:30am for pre-arranged procedural drop-offs. We then open at 9am for appointments and are a By Appointment Only facility.
