hey all, evan here - today marks two years since we released this record. “the long way out”, our second album.

it was the first time in the band’s history where i really started to take the songwriting seriously and experimented a lot. it was also written during some of the roughest times in my life thus far; through losing a close friend to su***de then the pandemic hitting immediately after, these experiences really influenced the writing of these songs. such a challenging time, but i’m glad that out if it came some of my best material to date.

i also cannot discredit the people who helped work on this record with me. demetri, quinn and carsen really brought their own unique takes to these songs (with a little direction from me) and made it a really awesome experience to work on these songs. shout out also to for recording/mixing/mastering the record as well; he did such a killer job and we couldn’t have done it without him.

even after all this time, i still am really proud of this album and what it represents. happy two years to TLWO ❤️
