It’s always a joy to see familiar faces back in action. Our Refresher program as well as Social Dog are great ways to reinforce good habits and keep their skills sharp. We’re so proud of how far they’ve come!

What does Zen Time look like at AK9? Teaching "place" is one of the best ways to encourage calmness and good behavior in our canine companions. This skill can be especially valuable during busy times when guests visit or family activities are happening. Relaxing on their "place" teaches our dogs self-regulation and impulse control, which are key to well-behaved, confident pets. When a dog can manage their emotions and impulses by staying calm instead of jumping, pawing, or barking, they are better able to handle everyday distractions and stressors.
