Camp Bow Wow® provides a fun, safe and upscale environment for dogs to play, romp and receive lots of love and attention! We provide doggy Day Camp for clients wishing to drop their dogs off in the morning and pick them up in the evening, as well as overnight boarding for travelers. Overnight Campers play in the day Camp program during the day and have their own individual cabins at night. Some of

Where A Dog Can Be A Dog!®

Our Canine Campers spend all day at Day Camp, from early in the morning to late in the evening, romping and playing indoors and outdoors with lots of attention from our well-trained certified Camper Care Specialists and Certified Camp Counselors®. Overnight Campers even get special "campfire" treats each night before lights out, when they are tucked into their own spacious, clean Camp Bow Wow cabin. Each cabin includes a comfy bed with a fleece blanket to curl up on in a climate controlled atmosphere. In addition, Camp Web Cam monitoring and professional security systems make sure all our Campers are happy and safe! We serve our Campers their own food during their stay to avoid upset tummies, and special requests for your Camper, from medicines, extra treats, or special care for older pups and other requirements are no problem here – AT NO EXTRA COST! We strive to make Camp Bow Wow as clean and safe as possible for all of our Campers! They must be neutered or spayed if over the age of 7 months, current on Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella (for Canine Cough), and Bivalent Canine Influenza. They must socialize well with other dogs, and be in good overall health. Please see our Camp Rules for more detailed information. The Camp concept provides the highest levels of fun, safety and service for our Campers, and peace of mind for their parents. Our simple philosophy remains the same: It's all about the dogs.

Positive exposure to people, animals, sounds, locations, and situations is the foundation of your puppy's growth journey, providing them with context for new experiences. 🌟

Why is socialization important? Safely socializing your puppy with animals, people, and places reduces stress and prevents behavioral issues like reactivity or anxiety. 🐾

Properly socialized puppies become confident, adaptable adult dogs, minimizing the risk of fearfulness. 🐕

Here's how to socialize your puppy: Use treats, play, objects, and praise for positive reinforcement when introducing them to new people, places, sounds, and animals.

Set socialization objectives: Meet new people, including children, every week. Monitor interactions for safety & be sure to pair these interactions with treats & praise to build a positive association.

Don't forget about vaccinated, friendly dogs! Camp is ideal for this, with vaccinated dogs, behavioral evaluations, and supervised play. 🐾

Explore new locations together! Introduce your pup to environments you frequent, considering your lifestyle even as they grow. 🌳

Where to socialize your dog? Camp is perfect for continued safe socialization with new dogs and Camp Counselors! Dogs are separated by size, evaluated, and vaccinated. 🐶🎉

Also, try parks, trails, dog-friendly stores, and restaurant patios. Positive experiences are key! ❤️

Remember safety! Before full vaccination, take precautions. Avoid dogs with unknown vaccination status and keep your puppy off grass in public spaces. Opt for carrying or using a cart in dog-friendly stores.

After fostering this silly little pup, Jack's mom knew they were meant to be together, and he's always been such a wonderful companion! When they found out he was sick with cancer they were relieved to have caught it early, with a positive prognosis after treatment. Jack's mom has been a great advocate for him and needed financial support when it came to the high cost of his surgery and treatment. The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation® was happy to give Jack a grant for his medical care and he's already healed up great after surgery!
