🐾 Kiva Needs a Quiet, Loving Foster Home—Can You Help? 🐾

Status: 🚨URGENT🚨 Foster Needed (In NM Shelter) - Like all shelter pups, information about Kiva is limited.

Meet Kiva, an 8-year-old Great Dane who’s been through some tough times and is in desperate need of a calm and loving foster home. 🏡❤️ At 114 pounds, this gentle giant is feeling a bit lost in the shelter, and we need your help to get her out of there ASAP!

Kiva is a reserved and quiet girl who craves the comfort of her own space. She’s well-behaved, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash, but shelter life has taken a toll on her. She’s become more withdrawn and needs a peaceful environment where she can feel safe and secure.

Kiva used to live with young children, but she’s no longer comfortable around them. She’d do best in a quiet home without young kids, where she can relax and find her peace. Her history with other dogs and cats is unknown, so any introductions would need to be slow and gentle. Loud noises like fireworks and thunder scare her, so a calm environment is key to helping her feel at ease.

Kiva may be shy right now, but with the right foster family, she has the potential to come out of her shell and rediscover the joy of being in a loving home. If you have a quiet space and a heart full of patience and love, Kiva could be the perfect companion for you.

NWGDR will be welcoming in a young litter of Dane puppies this week! We have never had a litter this young before so we need a few things to make their stay more comfortable. If you would like to help us with some of the needed items and toys for the babies please check out our Amazon list 😊
