Pepper’s baby boy turned 2 weeks on Saturday. What a chunk he is… I think he’s the chubbiest Chi puppy we’ve raised so far! It makes sense, as he has the entire milk bar all to himself 24/7. 🍼 His eyes are fully open and he’s trying to get up on his legs. 🥰 They develop new tricks quickly at this age - every day is something new to witness. Soon he’ll be running around and playing. My favorite age is 4-5 weeks, they’re a riot at that age. Very interactive and busy. When a 2 pound Chihuahua startles you 😳😂

Puppy health certificates for our 2 litters of Chihuhuas went well today… this little guy was the only disgruntled patient while having all the things checked over. 🥰😂 Please note, there is ZERO pinching, grabbing or squeezing going on in this video, the pup’s abdomen and groin are being palpated for hernia’s and to make sure his testicles are down where they need to be. Important information for a breeder and new owner to know. He was simply unhappy being held and examined by a stranger. We love our Veterinarian, Dr. Shaw and our Choice Veterinary family. 🐾🎊 The wait is over friends! 🎊🐾 Marina blessed us with a beautiful litter of 6 today! Sadly two pups were born sleeping (even though it happens, and it’s part of what we do) - it never gets easier. 2 blue + 2 tawny 2 tawny boys, 1 blue boy, and 1 blue girl. Mom and pups are doing great so far, and daddy Thorfinn… well, he is as goofy as ever! We’ll be posting updates on our stories and on social media. 🌊🔱 TRITON UPDATE 🔱🌊 This beautiful boy moved to New Mexico a few months ago. If you’ve been following us for a while, you’d know that we were directly hit by Hurricane Ian in 2022 and it destroyed our entire property, taking away all the towering Australian Pines that acted as natural shade and protected our Neapolitan Mastiffs from the brutal sun and heat of SWFL. We never saw this coming and were forced to make some difficult decisions to ensure the optimal health and comfort of some of our crew since then. Shannon and I sheltered in place with our animals through the catastrophic storm, which was terrifying at times, however the aftermath was so much worse for me and our crew. For one, Triton became infertile due to the heat… Triton has sired two gorgeous litters for peer breeders, so we know he’s an incredible health tested stud that produces gorgeous pups. 💪🏻 When our dear friends, the Patton’s reached out and offered to take him to New Mexico, it was a godsend. There is very low humidity (if any at all) and we know our boy will be more comfortable (and spoiled truthfully). We have been cultivating a friendship with Sarah and Donovan for years, as they have purchased multiple pups from us. 💜 When Triton’s fertility is fully restored, we will use him and who knows, we might even open him up for stud services. until then, know that he is in excellent hands and being spoiled like the prince he is!
