My hands are going to be permanently disfigured 😳 I have all this multicolor yarn that I wanted to use for something so I’ve taught myself to loom knit. Cranked these out in 2 days and I’ve got a baby blanket I’m working on at the same time…that ones much more time consuming for sure.

Good morning family and friends! Yesterdays market was so much fun and I’d like to personally thank each and every one of you who came out and showed your love to myself and every other vendor present. I will be back out at the market this coming Saturday but due to being short staffed (Jays off to hunt and fill our freezer), I will only have a very limited amount of my products with me so if there is something you want me to bring then now’s your chance to let me know. Who doesn’t love the moisturizing power of a good sugar scrub? So I was making one of my coffee scrubs and thought ”well why not have one that cleanses at the same time” so I took one of my mild facial bars, grated that sucker up and added it to the scrub. Y’all how perfectly spooky is this! It looks like tiny worms in the coffee scrub. I tried it and it works like a dream. Made the old dude try it too on one of his arms because that man hasn’t exfoliated a thing on his body in his entire life. Hell I don’t even think he knew what exfoliation meant before I dove into making goodies. Anyhow, it left his skin so smooth. So that’s a win in my book!

Coming to a farmers market near you (well if you’re in Wharton anyways 😉). Saturday, October 1, 2022 I’ll be debuting a couple of new products….for PETS!!! If you love my soaps and you have a furry friend then you’ve gotta try my dog shampoo bars! I will have them in two types, a bug biter bar that will also help sooth that dry and itchy skin made with glycerin, Shea butter, coconut oil, oatmeal, lemongrass essential oil, chamomile essential oil, and vitamin e. And a soothing bar for sensitive skin made with goats milk, Shea butter, coconut oil, oatmeal, lavender essential oil, chamomile essential oil, dried chamomile, and vitamin e. Can we talk about how adorable these bars are 😍. Both will be available in a small size perfect for those tiny little ones and a large bar perfect for those giant lap dogs in your life.

Working on putting together goodie bags for opening day of the Wharton County Farmers Market fall season and either I can’t count or I mistakenly put two of these cards in one of these bags 🤦🏼‍♀️Tell me I’m not the only one who makes mistakes like this resulting in wasted time because they aren’t more careful.

Today was soap day. Trying to replenish some of my best sellers. Man I don’t know why I didn’t change my packaging before now. I’ve been looking for the perfect option to get away from the single use plastics and keep my prices as close to what they are as possible. Let’s not even talk about how much of a pain in the ass it was having to bust out some scissors to get the bars out before….that was pretty annoying (to all my customers who’ve purchased from me till this point, I apologize for doing y’all dirty like that 😂 please dont hate me). Well I found these little boxes and I must say I love love love the way my bars look in their pretty little gift boxes 😍

Also just to note: some will still be packaged in the shrink wrap. These are bars that I already have in stock and it would be even more wasteful for me to unwrap each one to repackage in boxes so again, I apologize for not coming to this realization sooner.

Trying out something new today 😳 this is an unscented aloe, cucumber, avocado blend bar. Once hardened I’ll test how well it lathers and tweak anything that needs tweaking. 🤞🏻

Well what’s everyone up to this evening? I’m over here just makin a mess for a custom piece I’m working on 😉 So true story….when I’m playing with glitter I may pour too much and may sprinkle it on my hands and “accidentally” touch like everything 😂 tell me I’m not alone in my unhealthy obsession with sparkly things.

Y’all remember my post from about a month ago cleaning feathers? Well this is what it was for, a 30” oval to frame my big G. Finally finished 😳 I have been collecting feathers from my flock for months to be able to do this. Learned a couple things in the process too that could have made this so much easier to complete and made the feathers lay more uniform but this was good practice.
