Sometimes, life is just not fair. We try our best, we volunteer our time, we get the pups out and make sure they’re fed and taken care of, but sometimes that’s just not enough.

Betty Boop, we are sorry, we are sorry you have spent the last 266 days in a kennel.
We are sorry you haven’t slept on a couch or a humans bed. We are sorry you don’t have kids to play with or pups to cuddle yourselves.
Betty Boop, we are so sorry, but we promise we will never let you down and will never fail you.
We WILL fight for you and we WILL find you your forever home.

Betty Boop would love nothing more than a couch or some kids to cuddle. This girl wants her belly rubs and a comfy spot to call home. She is so sweet and can play but knows how to rest, too. She’s spent almost a year in a kennel and it’s time she gets her own home!

Please help share Betty Boop. Our hearts break watching her live a life in a kennel when she deserve so much more. Long-termers like Betty are just so sad to see but we know just like her daily positivity, we will find her a forever homes.

Tully and I recently marked a significant occasion - our 8th anniversary as a guide dog team. My talented guide dog has made notable contributions, initially gaining recognition as a celebrity puppy raising awareness for Guiding Eyes for the Blind on the Today Show. She went on to become the mascot for Sister Friends and inspired the launch of a health-conscious dog treat business, now available at a local small business. Throughout her accomplishments, she has consistently prioritized her role as my guide, ensuring my safety and independence in spite of my vision loss. Her steadfast presence has been a pillar of strength, offering solace during challenging times and sharing in our accomplishments. The connection we share is profound, and reflecting on her impact brings me to tears. Happy Anniversary to my outstanding guide dog. You are truly one of a kind, and I am eternally grateful. My appreciation for you is limitless. 🐶
