It all started with an 8 year old, our son, who fell in love with a blue eyed Border Collie named Buddy. Buddy was owned by the man who ran a motel we stayed at regularly in Clifton, TN while at the TN river. Alex would play frisbee and fetch with Buddy and make me promise I would someday buy

him a Border Collie of his own. Someday came when we bought our first Border Collie, a male Alex named Zeus. Zeus was, hands down, the most intelligent dog I have ever owned. My wife and I quickly became completely enamored with the Border Collie breed and bought a beautiful female to start our breeding program. The rest is history...

These two just gathered 99 head into the corral out of 160 acres , 20 minutes start to finish!!!!!! Steak bites were earned!!!! And, their beloved Kellen was there to watch and he is sooooo hoping to begin working them in July!!!!!!
They love their boy, Kellen!!!!!

Maverick had his 1st solo run, was a Yes! Yes! Good Boy!!!!! Came immediately, mid moving bovines, to me when called off, IMPRESSIVE!

Glynnis & Bonny, with unbridled Border Collie EXHUBERENCE & JOY, marching frisky, sassy young Black Heifers out of one of the hay yards, around the corner & circled..............14

Glynny at 10 1/2 is a long time herder, impeccably so.

Bonny at a wee bit over 1 year, herds like a veteran, with the occasional side show of making the heifers dance and twirl. She is going to be as outstanding as those who came before her.

Twas worthy of a video, but I was midst working with The Borders and Rex did not have my phone......soon, though.

Our Borders work with my voice, and also, whistle commands when my voice is too distant. As I am now on DAY FIVE * soooooooo not being gracious of spirit and patient in weakness * of NO VOICE and a tiny miniscule of hearing, those endless hours of working with Bonny as she learned to work with the whistle.........worth every second. Credit belongs also to Glynny for being a perfect role model for her younger, not as many years of experience, "sister" Bonny, of Rivendell Border Collies.

They make my heart happy!
