Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes for Brownie. She is still in quarantine but she is stable. She is very overwhelmed by all the attention. She will be at the vet through the weekend so please share her story and help us help her get better.

🚨 URGENT: Help Needed for Abandoned Dog 🚨

Hi everyone, we need your help for a desperate situation. We recently rescued a sweet dog, that we named Brownie, who was found tied up and abandoned under a bridge. 😢

Brownie is in very poor condition and needs an extended stay at the vet, which will cost around $1000. We’re asking for your support to cover these essential medical expenses.

Pawsome Paint Party to benefit Hardeman Adoptable Animals, INC and Kitten Kapers. We will be painting 16 inch wooden door signs at 112 West Layfayette St. I am hoping we have a great turnout. This will be a limited seat event with two sessions on Saturday, September 14th. One from 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm. We will have door prizes, snacks and all supplies provided. Grab your friends and come have a day of fun and help out the animals at HAA. All seats must be reserved and paid for by September 1st in order to give time to get the blank door hangers cut in time.
Seats will fill up fast so get your name and design on the list.

There are five designs to choose from
1. Welcome hope you like dogs
2. Welcome hope you like cats
3. Welcome hope you like kids
4. Home sweet home (dog house)
5. Home sweet home (paw prints)

This project is very beginner friendly. You do not have to be able to paint to make this project. The pieces are painted separately and then added to the main round.

On July 27th, at Pets Rock Fest in Jackson, we held a raffle for a beach bag filled with lots of goodies. Although we drew the winner's name that day, they had already left the event. Today, we finally got to meet up with the lucky winner, and she was thrilled—she said her son is going to be so excited! A big thank you to Emma Kendrick for supporting Hardeman Adoptable Animals!

🐶 Urgent Request for Food Donations: Help Us Support Our Shelter Dogs! 🐾

Dear friends and supporters,

Thanks to your incredible generosity back in June, we were able to provide much-needed care for our shelter dogs. We’re reaching out again today with an urgent need for both adult and puppy food.

Recently, we’ve experienced an influx of adorable, yet vulnerable, puppies in addition to our loyal adult dogs. Our supply is running low, and we need your help more than ever to ensure all our furry friends get the nutrition they need.

If you can, please consider donating either Pedigree adult dog food or Pedigree puppy food to help us continue providing for these wonderful animals. Every little bit helps, and your support means the world to us and to the dogs we care for.

Darlin sadly holds the title of longest time in the shelter. She was found in November 2020 as a stray that needed immediate medical attention. She is somewhat of a resource guarder - especially in her kennel. She has been there so long that it is "home" so she protects it; upon first meeting she may not make the greatest impression. She is a volunteer favorite!! We know that her home is out there somewhere!!

A heartfelt tribute to Ginna Moore, the founder and queen of Bark & Ride transport. Ginna made it possible to move dogs from HAA in Tennessee to Minnesota from 2011 to 2016 by coordinating multiple legs of volunteer drivers to get our dogs to rescues that could place them in loving homes.
Our hearts go out to all the family and friends of this gracious lady, who made a difference in so many of our lives. Thank you, Ginna, for showing us we could do it!
