Our Story
Greenwood Pet Camp is situated on 25 rural acres in the center of Brunswick County. Pet Camp has been providing professional pet care for over 40 years. Our family lives on site. Dogs are generally housed in indoor-outdoor patio runs. We also have quiet indoor spaces for timid, geriatric or special-needs pets. All dogs have regular exercise & potty time in spacious, fenced playgrounds. Cats are housed in private indoor kitty condos. The entire facility is double-security fenced and climate controlled with central heat and air. We are inspected and licensed by the NC Dept. of Agriculture. We are members of the Southport-Oak Island Chamber of Commerce, Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce, International Boarding & Pet Services Association, and rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau. For your pet's health and safety, please provide proof of current vaccinations from your veterinarian annually. Dogs: Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella and Canine Flu. Cats: Rabies, FVRCP, Leukemia. On some holidays the office is closed or has abbreviated hours. There may be an additional charge for the special opening of the kennel office during closed hours. We offer individualized playtimes & cuddle times for your pet. Tailored to your pet's particular needs and favorite pleasures, we feature activities such as nature walks, frisbee, fetch, exploring, brushing and cuddles, with swimming a popular summer time option. These are a great way to spoil your special dog or cat while at Camp. Remember this is an excellent time to schedule your pet's spa bath, nail trim or Furmination too. Our rates are "per pet, per day" and include your pet's loving care, supervision, feeding and daily exercise. We furnish beds, quilts & premium pet foods. Checkout time is 1:00 pm.
