We are 1 year old! July 1st, 2023 we took off in a whirlwind to make sure we could offer continued care to our clients and their horses that decided to join us in this venture. It has been a fast-paced rollercoaster! We are so thankful to those of you who have supported us through our first year as a practice, and are excited to continue to offer the highest degree of care to all our patients for years to come!

Last week we got the chance to participate in a Veterinary and Equine Management Day at Classic Bay Farm! We had a great time demonstrating dental floating, proper vaccination technique and overall equine wellness practices for the students of Alvirne FFA. We love helping foster future Equine Veterinarians!

On March 20, join AAEP members Drs. Allie Catalino, Racquel Lindroth, and Nikki Scherrer for a one-hour webinar discussing how horse owners can prepare themselves for equine veterinary emergencies. Learn to identify problems requiring immediate attention and take appropriate action while awaiting veterinary care!

It’s Equine Dental month! Routine dental care is crucial to your horse’s overall health. Appropriate dental care helps your horse remain comfortable, break down food more efficiently, and improve performance. At All Horses Great & Small, we recommend at least once yearly dental exams with appropriate maintenance, such as floating. Call our office today to get on our schedule!

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Katie Shaffer to All Horses Great and Small,! Katie grew up in Acton, MA. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of Connecticut, where she also rode on the equestrian team. Katie then went on to vet school at University of Florida and graduated in May of 2023. Dr. Shaffer is excited to be mentored by Dr. Bethune and Dr. Clark and to help the current and future equine community in Massachusetts.

Medication orders:
Please remember to check your supply of regular medications and give us at least a week heads up on ordering and shipping your horse's meds. We are working on getting our pharmacy organized and may not have everything you need on hand right away.
Additionally - our suppliers are closely watching the potential UPS strike and recommending that clients obtain a 60 day supply before the end of July on any regular medications their horse may need!!! to help our staff with this please email requests to [email protected] and they will reach out to you within a day to confirm your order

We will be operating out of a separate office space at the facility in Bolton!
96 Hudson Rd Bolton MA.
You can pick up meds there, and we still have the ability to see patients on site if you ship to us.
Don't forget to submit new client forms through our website and we will reach back out to confirm continued regular care and emergency coverage.
