Kidding season is complete with sixteen healthy growing kids. Total of 9 does and 7 bucks. 3 sold and 1 retained, leaves us with 5 does and 7 bucks available.

These kids will be available by Memorial Day weekend. At that time they will be weaned, will have their first and second CDT vax, two preventative dewormings and males will be banded upon request at 8 weeks of age. North of Bondurant IA

Happy birthday to Vera's triplets, Charity(doe), Courage(buck) and Cheer(doe), and happy heavenly birthday to my dad!

This makes 16 kids at Shepherd Hill Fainting Goats for 2024. Not 100% sure we're done yet.

1 bottle baby (from first set of triplets) I LOVE her!!!

1 baby from the second set of twins rejected by mom and fostered by Daisy (4th set of twins) has gained weight well with his 2 adopted brothers.

One set of twins rejected by a first time mom were bottle fed their first evening (yesterday) and morning (today) to gain strength and then reunited and successfully nursing from mom! Thank you, God! I recorded a start weight for each and will weigh again Saturday.

Kidding season continues in wonderful fashion! So many wonderful colors this year, and lots of healthy kids...8 so far, with two mamas expected to kid next week.
