Sampson the Senior Pomeranian

Sampson came into our care after a heartbreaking situation—the unexpected passing of his dad inside an RV in Naples, Florida. For the past few months, we’ve been dedicated to stabilizing him and providing the love and care he deserves.

At over 11 years old, Sampson has special needs that require a low-protein, low-phosphorus diet, frequent grooming, and round-the-clock diapering due to a significant bladder stone and crystallization in one of his kidneys. He also needs essential supplements and medication to keep him comfortable and pain-free. Unfortunately, he is not adoptable and cannot undergo surgery due to his age.

This month, we are reaching out for your support to help Sampson and other sanctuary animals like him. This is Zira. A indoor outdoor 10 year old female. She’s a sweetheart but strong feline. Great with dogs but weary of other cats. She enjoys early mornings outside then naps through the day. She’s a great snuggle buddy. Needs a home with lanai or safe outdoor access!!!

Seeking Loving Home for a Wonderful senior

This handsome 10-year-old American Bully mix is a total sweetheart. He’s incredibly gentle with people, takes treats with the softest touch, and has a heart full of love to share. Although he can be alpha, he’s shown no signs of real aggression. He has so much potential and would thrive in a stable, nurturing environment.

Due to the owners physical limitations, He now needs a new space to live . He came from MDAS who wasn’t entirely upfront about his needs, It’s heartbreaking . If he goes back to animal control it’s the end of his days .

Urgent Foster or Permanent Home Needed for Saint!

This sweet boy, Saint, is in desperate need of a temporary or forever home. His owner is between homes, and unfortunately, his foster situation fell through. The current foster is planning to take him to LCDS, where he only has 5 days to find a new home.

Saint is a 25-pound, neutered male who gets along well with other dogs. However, he hasn’t been tested around kids, and he does have some food aggression. Because of this, LCDS will most likely fail him and not put him up for adoption.

If you or anyone you know can help provide a safe space for Saint, even temporarily, please reach out! Any resources, referrals, or foster connections would be greatly appreciated.

🐾✨ Meet our little miracle! This adorable 10-11 week old Frenchie pup came to us with a severe eye injury, but thanks to some amazing treatment, her eye is looking so much better! We have a health revision coming up on Wednesday, and we’re feeling super optimistic — and so is she! 💖

She’s a sweet little butterball of joy, and we can’t resist snuggling her. Stay tuned for more updates on her progress! If you’re feeling a tug at your heartstrings and could offer her a loving home once she’s all recovered, we’d love to hear from you! 🏡❤️

Please. This has got to stop. Stop "re-homing" your old, lame, broken down horses. Stop telling yourself "it will be a good home and they will keep her forever." Chances are they WON'T - at least not for the long haul. No one will love your golden oldie more than you- so love them enough to either keep them or humanely euthanize them.

I'm sick to the core of buying broken down old horses at the auction. I'm sick to the core of picking up the weight that should have been someone else's to bear. It should have been the people who loved her, who used her up, who eventually broke her down. It should have been them who had to give her that last final kindness of a peaceful death. Not me.

So please, tell anyone you hear that is thinking that "re-homing" their aged lame horse is a loving thing that it most assuredly is not. It is easy, and it is selfish, and it is how Hip #963 ended up like this.

I'm tired. And the truth is, there are way more Hip #963's than there are of me out there. Chances are, your horse won't get so lucky.

bonded pair of female Chihuahuas. One year old puppies in need of home . Owner is set to drop them at Collier Animal Services early next week. Indoor lap dogs, wee-wee pad trained. Love to play with each other, toys and cats too. Very small size, probably weigh 8 pounds if they were both on the scale together.
