Tonight was our first “Scent Class” at Sit Means Sit. 🙌

I want to thank everyone who attended this tonight as it’s new for me too! ✨ I was so excited with how many people committed to this class on such short notice. We love having you teach your dogs NEW things! Fast things, hard things, fun things and boring things.

It’s all about relationship building. If your dog is good at something might want to venture with it more. 🤍

If they’re challenge by something YOU decide what you want to work THROUGH or if there’s something else that would “fit better”

Remember dogs were bred for a purpose a JOB. If we’re not hunting them, running them, stimulating them, challenge them THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE A JOB FOR YOU 📣

Hi all I’m “Roy” and today was my first lesson at Sit Means Sit. I was a little hesitant at first on why my mom thinks we need these classes, but after today… I can see why! We had so much fun building attention on one another, learning new skills and getting lots of praise. I let my new trainer work me and saw a few new dogs without any barking. Can’t wait for my next lesson!

One of our favorite commands is the "place" command. Place can be any object that has a clear boundary (dog bed, ottoman, etc.) and it can be used anywhere. Here are some of the benefits to teaching a place:
