Red White and Groomed! 🇺🇸🐾🧼🛁 🎆🐾 We are super excited to have the opportunity to highlight some of the amazing dogs needing homes at the shelter and support for the Stars, Stripes, & Snuggles: 4th of July Adoption and Microchip Extravaganza! 🐾🎆
In preparation for the upcoming holiday, we are waiving adoption fees for all pets. The week of July 4th brings the highest intake of animals to our shelters as loud Independence Day firework shows leave many pets frightened, causing them to get loose or run away. We’re hoping to open up some much-needed kennel space to prepare for the influx of animals.
In addition, the Bonita and Carlsbad shelters will be administering free microchips for pets of residents living in the unincorporated areas of San Diego County.
