Kodiak was a stray on the streets of LA and wound up in a Nasty kill shelter from which he was rescued and brought to Montana. He landed at Dogwerks for some much needed training and trust/respect building. Kodi was very edgy and reactive when he arrived but has made good progress and relaxed a lot. He’s a sweet guy under his Armor, and I’d sure love to find a forever home for this handsome boy who’s been through a lot! Free training for his new person!

This sweet girl is Etsy. She is looking for a home! Etsy was found in a ditch and has bite scars around her neck. She’s been at a rescue in Polson for awhile and She’s been training for the last week at Dogwerks. Etsy he’s done so well and responds great to calm, assertive leadership. She has learned her basic obedience commands on and (mostly) off leash and has become much more comfortable around dogs and is really becoming joyful and playful! Please share her story and help her find a great home!

I found this boy running in the parking lot of the Milltown market around 5 tonight. Took him in to a kennel at Dogwerks to keep him safe. He’s intact wearing a blue/green cloth collar no tags. If he’s yours please contact Randi at (406) 260-5505 if anyone knows how to share this with lost and found pet sites please do!!
This dog has been found and returned to his owner! Thanks for sharing the post, it takes a village!!

My Beloved Papillon Twix is missing. I was hiking behind the Milltown state park on the right side heading toward Deer Creek with 11 dogs. Unfortunately, I was a bit spacey as I loaded dogs into the van and didn’t do a head count. I noticed Twix was missing about 15 mins later while dropping off other dogs. I returned to the trailhead and retraced the hike twice yelling and whistling with and without my other dogs. We found no sign of her. It’s my hope that someone may have picked her up near where I’d been parked while I was gone. Please spread the word she is a special dog to me!!

Today is Rosie’s one year Anniversary with me! What a difference a year makes! I believe she is ready for the next step in expanding her faith in humanity by finding her forever home if I can find the right person for this precious girl!

Here are a couple nice pups available for adoption through Higher Ground Sanctuary in Washington. They are completing two weeks of boarding and training at Dogwerks and have a good foundation! The shepherd is Duke he’s a bit timid but gets along well with dogs and is gaining confidence with the training. Cetara is a very cute boy about 30 pounds who is playful and bold. Anybody out there have a forever home for one of these boys? Marielle
