We offer Dog boarding and Doggie day care for all sizes and ages. Happy Tails is located in a quiet country setting.

Your pooch gets a cozy, private run with a bed, four walks a day (group or individual) on 7 wooded acres, two meals a day, treats, chew toys, and lots of individualized attention. We have a fenced acre play yard for your best friend to run and stretch his/her legs, play Frisbee, chase a ball or play with the other dogs. Giving most medications are no problem. We cater to your pets individual needs.

🛑 DO NOT GIFT AN ANIMAL THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!

We can't say it enough: DON'T GIVE PETS AS GIFTS unless the recipient knows in advance and is ready, willing and able to take care of that animal for it's entire natural life. We're talking about a 15-20 year commitment in the case of a cat. Animals are not novelties; they're living beings that depend on us for food, shelter, healthcare, interaction and love. They need to be taken to the vet regularly and in case of emergency. If the recipient can't provide all that, choose another gift this time around.

Instead of surprising someone with a pet, consider alternative ways to celebrate the holidays, like providing pet-related gifts, or if the recipient truly wants a pet, you can support them in the process of adopting from a shelter or rescue organization when they are ready for the commitment.

Oh yes! This is my personal approach and I can attest to how well it works.
Crates are tools NOT torcher. Your dog likes dens.
Any holiday pups, remember consistency, consistency and more consistency. Oh yeah, and supervision.
If you can’t tell, I’m digging this channel. She is based locally as well.

Better Together Animal Alliance is hosting a free vaccine and microchip clinic! This clinic will be held at the Bonner County Fairgrounds in Sandpoint on Saturday, November 23rd, from 10am-2pm. It will be first-come, first-serve, while supplies last.
