Melanogaster (Mels): Wingless fruit flies measuring 1/16 inch and a life cycle of 14 to 28 days are nutritious and an easily accessible meal. They prefer to stay close to the bottom of your reptile enclosure making them perfect for young or small reptiles.

Hydei Flies: At 1/8 inch, flightless but energetic acrobats. Their life cycle spans 21 to 30 days, and they love to jump around your enclosures making them Ideal for larger reptiles on the hunt.
