I sold all personally owned horses as the cost of supplies and board skyrocketed here in San Diego last summer, (average cost to own a horse and keep it at a decent barn averages about 1500 per mo now).

I have soooo much gear! what to do, what to do....... sell it? keep it? donate it? Its rather nice to have a bag of tricks for whatever may come my way in the horse department...

Starting young horses is one of my favorite activities: Tiana is a 2.5 yr. old Fresian mare, learning all the ways of ground schooling.... 😍🩷🩷🩷 This little gal is particularly fun to work with, incredibly smart, picks up and remebers every lesson.... happy horsey buddy😊

We had a great time at HITS Horse Shows Del Mar Horsepark for the CDS San Diego Chapter Road to Championships 3 star show!

Sunny owned by Carol Urquarht was reliable as ever and we scored a 62.6 on day one at 4th level test 1, 5th place.

On Saturday, we improved our score to 63.4, finishing fourth, and I earned half of the requirements for my Silver from USDF, which was my short-term goal. I was thrilled!🥰🥰🥰🥳🥳🥳

After a tough year of working on my riding to be competitive at 4th level I was lucky to find Birthe Laufer who has improved my technique and understanding immensely within a very short time. Thanks so much for taking me as a student! I am surrounded by tons of friendly competition and encouraging support from my friends, family, clients, grooms, trainer, and fellow riders. It sure is nice to have good will for all🩷

My good friend Sara Devine was awesome and looked sharp pulling home 2nd place at the RAAC for 3rd level! Way to go Sara & Paddy!

I got to watch a few of the junior FEI freestyles- they were fantastic, music was great, such a pleasure to watch! The Junior Championships is super to watch and support! Keep the kids coming!🩷

Former Olympic pro riders were in abundance- how lucky are we living in San Diego to be able to go down to the local horse show and see some of the worlds best riders? Its great if you can get to the show and watch the warm up arena, there sure is a lot to see! It is both intimidating and inspiring to me at the same time to be competing as a pro in this environment, but in the end I would much rather be surrounded by the best than the mediocre🩷

Yesterday at Fallbrook Riders, Inc. we had a really nice schooling show, I rode Sunny 4-1 scoring a 61. (gotta work on those changes).
Andrea and Sammy got a 63 at 1-1 and after the show I taught a groundschool clinic that was super fun! Thank you so much to all the volunteers who put on these events!

We will learn how horses communicate (body language), conformation, parts of the horse, safe handling and solutions to common ground schooling problems. We were so grateful to attend a level 1 parelli clinic in Valley Center with Margit Deerman, she is an amazing level 4 Parelli Certified Instructor right here in the neighborhood🩷🩷🩷🩷 It was extra fun to get there and know 4 out of 6 horses in attendance, Kimberly monk dressage baby was there, and Camille Newtons horses which I have had the pleasure to care for in years past were there... it was a friendly fun time! Thank You Andrea Mintz and all those who put this workshop together!

I will have 1 full training spot available in my program May 1st at Peridot Equestrian Center . I specialize in correct basics for both horse and rider, I accept children and adults, beginner or advanced riders welcome!

Come ride in our amazing covered arena and learn from a certified Dressage trainer.

I encourage my students to learn and practice correct horsemanship, sportsmanship, and leadership in their equine relationships!

It was so fun to have my student Carol participate in the Schooling show this last Sunday! Awesome write up in CA Riding Magazine! "Luna" 11yr old Mustang Mare 15hh for sale- 2k OBO, located in Bonsall CA at Spirit Ranch.

Luna was once wild and was auctioned out of Oregon as far as I can tell from her freezemark.

She clips, ties, trailers, is good for the farrier and is current on all vaccines- she has never had health problems, is an easy keeper and has been with me for 3 years.

She is barefoot with great hoof and bone. She got scores in the low 60's at training level in dressage schooling show last year. She jumps a little, loves to go on trail, goes through water and has swam in the Ocean at fiesta island. She is good alone or in a group on trail. Does not bite or kick. She is friendly and sweet!

She is also smart & energetic! My lack of time for her is the main reason she needs a new home.

She needs more training and is the kind of horse you could ride for 2 hours or 4 hours... she just goes and goes and goes. She needs someone confident with the skills to continue her training- you can see in the video she can be a little tricky, but in her defence, that video was taken right after she had been out on a trial at another barn and this was her first ride back. I will be making more videos this week.
