Seeking foster or adoptive parents for ChiChi, a three-year old female Taiwanese Formosan Mountain Dog. The owners have moved abroad and unable to bring her with them. Chichi is spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. She loves to run fast and fetch sticks, is high-energy, attentive and very loyal. She is definitely a "one-dog" family, as she will become territorial with other dogs (or cats and other animals). She would be happy as an indoor dog, as long as the owner can take her out for daily walks/runs. She tends to be defensive-aggressive around non-family members. She has twice bitten other dogs but not bitten a person. Would make an ideal companion for a single person or couple who enjoy a dog that wants to jump, romp, run, and play, and desires a human-focused dog.

Hey Facebook family. These two dogs are currently at the Watauga Humane Society looking for their forever homes.

Lee Loo is the white dog. She is a 4 year-old german shepherd mix who has been spayed. She can be skiddish when meeting new people, but has really opened up since being at the Watauga Humane Society.

Rin Tin Tin is the black dog. She is a 7 month-old german shepherd mix who has been spayed. She is your typical german shepherd puppy that is just in need of some training.

Hey Facebook family. This sweet boy is looking for his forever home. This is Zeus. He is a 2-3 year old Belgian Malinois. He is extremely sweet with people and was also sweet with our son. He has not shown any aggression towards other dogs while at the Watauga Humane Society. Please remember this is a high energy breed that needs a lot of attention and love. Hey Facebook family! We have another dog needing his forever home. He is a 3 year old purebred catahoula leopard and has papers. The family just does not have the time to devote to his needs. He is very loving and affectionate, but has lots of energy as this is a working breed that needs a lot of attention. He has been good with the immediate family that includes 2 female dogs, a cat, and kids. He is protective of his family. He is not always the friendliest with people and dogs outside of the family, but has never bitten anyone. Please let us know if you are interested and we will get you in contact with the owners!

Hey Facebook family! We have a sweet dog in need of a home. The owner is unable to give him the time and attention he needs. Hank is a 2 year old registered golden retriever. He is extremely calm around adults and he loves kids. He has been around a 2 year old, 12 year old, and 17 year old. He can sit and shake and unless distracted, comes when he is called. Hey Facebook family. This sweet german shepherd is looking for her forever home. She is 2 or 3 years old. Very sweet and cuddly. She is not spayed. She was surrendered at no fault of her own. It was due to the owner having health issues. She is used to being around another dog. Please let us know if you are interested!

The black pitbull is a 2 year old female named River. She is a very sweet and stunning dog! Sadly, her owner’s landlord made them get rid of her. She is not spayed and she loves cuddles.

The other one is said to be a male german shepherd mix. His name is Ace. He has lots of energy and is very intelligent. He is neutered. He was surrendered by his owner because they said he did not adjust well to the new baby. He knows commands, listens well, and walks well on a leash.

UPDATE: Both dogs have been rehomed! Thanks for everyone’s help and support!

Alright everyone. We have 2 german shepherds that need new homes. They can go together or be separated. The owner is unable to give them the time and exercise that is needed.

The one in the orange collar is Rune. He is a full-blooded german shepherd. He is neutered. He weighs 97lbs and his birthday is 2/7/2021. After a few minutes of being around other dogs, he does not pay them much attention. He has been to dog parks with no issues. He can be protective of his toys. Rune has been around small children and cats and does really well. He loves to ride in the car and play in the creek.

Raven is a female german shepherd. She is spayed. They got her from Watauga Humane Society. She is either 3 or 4 years old. Raven loves to play fetch. She is very gentle when playing fetch with her. She can be protective of her food and toys. Raven has been around small children and cats without any issues. Raven listens very well. If she is running after something and she is called, she will stop, turn around, and come back. Raven is capable of clearing a 6ft. fence. She loves to ride in the car and play in the creek.
