Hey Facebook family. These two dogs are currently at the Watauga Humane Society looking for their forever homes.

Lee Loo is the white dog. She is a 4 year-old german shepherd mix who has been spayed. She can be skiddish when meeting new people, but has really opened up since being at the Watauga Humane Society.

Rin Tin Tin is the black dog. She is a 7 month-old german shepherd mix who has been spayed. She is your typical german shepherd puppy that is just in need of some training.

Hey Facebook family. This sweet boy is looking for his forever home. This is Zeus. He is a 2-3 year old Belgian Malinois. He is extremely sweet with people and was also sweet with our son. He has not shown any aggression towards other dogs while at the Watauga Humane Society. Please remember this is a high energy breed that needs a lot of attention and love. Hey Facebook family! We have another dog needing his forever home. He is a 3 year old purebred catahoula leopard and has papers. The family just does not have the time to devote to his needs. He is very loving and affectionate, but has lots of energy as this is a working breed that needs a lot of attention. He has been good with the immediate family that includes 2 female dogs, a cat, and kids. He is protective of his family. He is not always the friendliest with people and dogs outside of the family, but has never bitten anyone. Please let us know if you are interested and we will get you in contact with the owners!

Hey Facebook family! We have a sweet dog in need of a home. The owner is unable to give him the time and attention he needs. Hank is a 2 year old registered golden retriever. He is extremely calm around adults and he loves kids. He has been around a 2 year old, 12 year old, and 17 year old. He can sit and shake and unless distracted, comes when he is called. Hey Facebook family. This sweet german shepherd is looking for her forever home. She is 2 or 3 years old. Very sweet and cuddly. She is not spayed. She was surrendered at no fault of her own. It was due to the owner having health issues. She is used to being around another dog. Please let us know if you are interested!

Hi facebook family! We have 2 more dogs that need their forever homes. They are both currently at the Ashe County Animal Control. If you are interested in adopting one, please contact them at 336-982-4060.

The black pitbull is a 2 year old female named River. She is a very sweet and stunning dog! Sadly, her owner’s landlord made them get rid of her. She is not spayed and she loves cuddles.

The other one is said to be a male german shepherd mix. His name is Ace. He has lots of energy and is very intelligent. He is neutered. He was surrendered by his owner because they said he did not adjust well to the new baby. He knows commands, listens well, and walks well on a leash.

Please help us find their forever homes!

UPDATE: Both dogs have been rehomed! Thanks for everyone’s help and support!

Alright everyone. We have 2 german shepherds that need new homes. They can go together or be separated. The owner is unable to give them the time and exercise that is needed.

The one in the orange collar is Rune. He is a full-blooded german shepherd. He is neutered. He weighs 97lbs and his birthday is 2/7/2021. After a few minutes of being around other dogs, he does not pay them much attention. He has been to dog parks with no issues. He can be protective of his toys. Rune has been around small children and cats and does really well. He loves to ride in the car and play in the creek.

Raven is a female german shepherd. She is spayed. They got her from Watauga Humane Society. She is either 3 or 4 years old. Raven loves to play fetch. She is very gentle when playing fetch with her. She can be protective of her food and toys. Raven has been around small children and cats without any issues. Raven listens very well. If she is running after something and she is called, she will stop, turn around, and come back. Raven is capable of clearing a 6ft. fence. She loves to ride in the car and play in the creek.

Ok Warriors K9 family, we need your help. Someone reached out to us asking to help find these pups homes. We are unsure of age, thinking maybe 4-6 months old and they do not have any of their shots. We were told they are husky, German shepherd mix. They are located in the Kernersville area. They are free. These are all the photos we have of them. Please help us find these puppies their forever homes!

We need your help!
This beautiful boy needs a new home!
This is Haven. He is 125 lb, blue/tan german shepherd, born 12/31/2019. He is not neutered and is up to date with vaccines. He does have a skin flair up once a year either from allergies or anxiety. He is crate and house trained. He never chews on anything that is laying around and never uses the bathroom in the house unless very anxious/excited and will happy p*e at your feet. He may occasionally puke if overly anxious.
He has always been a very high energy and affectionate dog. He loves water and diving his head into the river for toys or white rocks, hiking, playing, hide n seek, and tries to climb trees. He is great with people and good with cats and dogs that are not aggressive towards him.
He listens to commands most of the time.
Commands are: Sit, stay, lay down, up, back up, come, quiet, go to bed, go get your food, go get it(as in you threw a ball and told him to wait, then said "go get it"), holding a treat on nose, drop it, heal.
Haven is very affectionate. The current owner believes he would thrive with another dog in the home for a companion.

Hi everyone! We need your help. This beautiful boy needs a new home. The current owner has had some things come up and can no longer keep him.
This is Kaiser. He is a 3 year old German Shepherd that had been previously rescued. He is neutered and up to date on all of his shots. He does require a slow introduction to other dogs and people but once that initial introduction is over, he is fine.
He does have some guarding issues with food, toys, or even small things like a shoe he shouldn’t have. He does not leave cats or small animals alone. He doesn’t hurt them, but he will chase them like he wants to play.
Please remember that German shepherds are a high energy breed that requires attention and exercise, but remember we do offer training and can help whoever takes this sweet boy home. Please share this post to help him find his forever home. Please contact if interested!
