We are back to selling DAC products!!. Although we never quit using and recommending DAC we took a hiatus from selling over the years due to not having time to devote to it.

The plan is to carry a few 'horse show items" wherever we go to shows. We will also put reminders out ahead of a show in case anyone wants to order something we will not carry on the regular.

We’re recovering from 2 long weeks of horse showing, first at NQHA Silver Classic and then at the IQHA Fall Classic and Futurities.. wow, what a marathon!

Thanks to NQHA for putting on a fun horse show and an awesome Versatility Tournament, we might not have had anyone on a winning team but it was SOOOO much fun!

BUT, we did have members of our barn on the winning dodgeball team for the IQHA Amateur fundraiser... Congrats to Mitch and Aubrey Adkins along with their team! The event was hilarious for both the players and spectators!

Now for some IQHA placings because that's all I can remember!

We’re back from a fun Cornhusker Classic. Very proud of the improvements we’ve seen in all of our horses, they keep getting better each show! Dancingnthemoonlite had her debut to the show pen in the Lvl 1 Jr Trail with Mitch, she had great patterns with a few minor bobbles. We’re very excited about the future of this awesome 3 year old! Huntin Hot Chocolate and Lisa Merfeld put on points and had top 5 placings in the Lvl 1 AM WP and HSM! Watch for this new team in the level 1 AM events this year! Mitch also had good patterns and placed 2,6,4,8,9 with her in the Lvl 1 Sr Trail Love My Hot Machine had top 5 placings in the Lvl 1 and Lvl 2 JR WP with Mitch

A week ago we came home from IQHA Mayflower show. While the rides from the show horses were not quite what we were looking for (they weren't horrible but not up to our standards) the few green horses we hauled in to ride got a lot of valuable exposure. This two year old just keeps getting better and better. Next stop Cornhusker Classic!

Our daughter is crushing goals again today. First solo ride outside in the big pen and made laps. Watching her confidence grow every time she reaches a goal is priceless! Coaching small kids is difficult, it’s even worse when you’re the parent! We’ve figured out she’ll accomplish the most when we tell/show her the basic skills and let her go. It’s not always perfect, or pretty, but allowing her to figure things out at a pace she’s comfortable with is keeping her relaxed and she’s enjoying each ride! She’s learning to ask questions when she’s confused or if her way isn’t working. She’s learning to be a team with her horse. She’s not crying because we’re pushing at a pace she’s not ready for. It’s been a learning curve for us as much as her but now, we’re just staying out of her way and watching the progress. #adkinsquarterhorses #smallfry #walktrot #aqha #aqhaproud

Sophia Miller and Don't Skip Suzy, partnered with Brea Pile in the Calcutta for the Egg and Spoon at the Silver Classic. Congrats to Sophia and Suzy on placing second. Money raised went to juvenile diabetes research.
