It’s been a great trip for the dogs. Tons of bird contact. Almost too much. Tupp learned a lot. She’ll make a real dog if I can keep her on wild birds. They are the best teachers by far! Paxi has it figured out, which is fun. But alas, it’s time to head back to the Appalachian Grouse that I’ve come to know and love over a lifetime. I’m tired. 👴🏻

We sent Paxi’s pups to their new homes in early September. Then we went on vacation, and right after we returned we were hit by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, our property was spared any major damage, and we are looking forward to bird season.
We do not have a litter planned for 2025, but there is a possibility for one in the summer.

Applications are open for our 2024 litter from Paxi/Archie, born 7/9/24. There are 4 males and 3 females. A male and a female are not yet spoken for. They’ll be going to their new homes on Labor Day weekend! More information about the parents (both health tested), and the application, can be found on our website, www.foggygap.com/puppies

This dog just won’t quit. After 5 straight days she is still full throttle but will stop on a dime on bird scent. Even Paxi is flabbergasted at the drive that pup has!
