🎉 Big News at Pet Care Clinic! 🎉

We are so lucky to celebrate two incredible employees who graduated this fall!

🎓 Ali earned her Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology from Appalachian State University today! We are so unbelievably proud of her, but we are also so sad to announce that she will be moving back home to Florida to be closer to her family. Ali has been such an important part of our team, and we are going to miss her so much. Help us convince her to stay—Florida can wait a little longer, right?!

🎓 Hannah earned her Associate degree from Penn Foster (her second degree!), and we are thrilled to announce that she is now one of our two Lead Veterinary Technicians, helping manage our busy clinic floor. Her hard work and dedication are truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be more proud of her accomplishments!

Please join us in congratulating both of these amazing women on their achievements. They’re shining examples of passion and commitment in veterinary medicine. We’re so proud of you, Ali and Hannah! 🐾💙

FELV Friday: Vaccination Saves Lives 🐾

Feline Leukemia Virus (FELV) is a devastating disease that weakens your cat’s immune system, making them more vulnerable to:
• Chronic Illnesses: Respiratory infections, oral health issues, and slow healing.
• Anemia: Causing fatigue and weakness.
• Cancer: FELV increases the risk of lymphoma and leukemia.
• Shortened Lifespan: Cats with FELV often face a reduced quality and length of life.

The good news? Vaccination is your cat’s best defense! FELV spreads through close contact—like grooming, sharing bowls, or bites—but with regular testing and vaccines, you can protect your cat and help prevent the spread.

Give us call about FELV prevention today. Their future depends on it! ❤️

Our Story

We began offering daytime, non-emergency health care services in 2009 as a direct result of the requests of our emergency clients at the time. These offerings grew over the years and were complimented by the equipment and instrumentation required by the emergency clinic located in the same facility. Since that time, we have expanded into a new facility as of May, 2017 and now offer vaccination programs, deworming strategies, preventative health care, spay / neuter services, dental services as well as internal medicine case management, orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures. Recently, we have expanded our capabilities to perform stem cell regenerative therapy, laser therapy, acupuncture, physical rehabilitation and have included the capabilities of treating exotic and pocket pets. Our lobby features separate dog and cat waiting areas and a large retail area. Behind the scenes, we have a well-stocked veterinary pharmacy, digital general and dental radiography, a quiet room for visitation along with a spacious treatment area and surgical suite.
