As the weather warms up, so do our pets’ adventures! 🌿 Whether it’s romping through the grass, chasing butterflies, or rolling in fresh blooms, spring is full of fun—but it also comes with a few pet hazards.

✅ Flea & Tick Prevention – Warmer weather means these pesky parasites are back in full force! Make sure your pet is protected.
🌱 Toxic Plants – Some spring flowers, like lilies and tulips, can be dangerous to pets. Keep an eye on curious chewers!
🐾 Allergies – Just like us, pets can get seasonal allergies too! If you notice excessive itching, sneezing, or red eyes, we can help.

Enjoy the sunshine, and keep your pets happy and healthy this season! 🌞🐶🐱

🐾 Vet Myth Busters! 🐾
❌ Myth: Dogs eat grass because they’re sick.
✅ Truth: While some dogs may eat grass to soothe an upset stomach, many do it just because they like the taste or texture! However, frequent grass eating combined with vomiting could signal an underlying issue—so it’s always good to check with your vet.

Does your dog snack on grass? Tell us in the comments! 🌱🐶⬇️

🎉 Huge Congratulations to
Hannah Scott, RVT!!!🎉

We are beyond excited to announce that Hannah has officially become a Registered Veterinary Technician in North Carolina! 🐾🎓
Hannah’s journey with us has been nothing short of inspiring. She started as a kennel technician with Ridge Runner, and through dedication, passion, and hard work, she’s worked her way up, completing her online classes and tackling the VTNE exam head-on. And she did it! 💪
It's a true testament to her determination, and we couldn’t be more proud of how far she’s come. With her new credentials, our clinic now has 3 Registered Veterinary Technicians, which is a rare feat for many practices. This trio of RVTs makes our clinic even stronger and allows us to provide an even higher level of care to all of our patients. 🐶🐱❤️
For those who might not know, Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) are like the superheroes of the animal healthcare world! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ They are skilled in everything from performing lab tests, analyzing X-rays, and administering anesthesia to providing dental cleanings and even giving life-saving emergency care. Their expertise is truly unmatched and plays a huge role in the success of any veterinary team.
Hannah, your hard work and dedication inspire us all. We’re so lucky to have you on the team. Here’s to your future successes, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll continue to do! 🥳👏

Our Story

We began offering daytime, non-emergency health care services in 2009 as a direct result of the requests of our emergency clients at the time. These offerings grew over the years and were complimented by the equipment and instrumentation required by the emergency clinic located in the same facility. Since that time, we have expanded into a new facility as of May, 2017 and now offer vaccination programs, deworming strategies, preventative health care, spay / neuter services, dental services as well as internal medicine case management, orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures. Recently, we have expanded our capabilities to perform stem cell regenerative therapy, laser therapy, acupuncture, physical rehabilitation and have included the capabilities of treating exotic and pocket pets. Our lobby features separate dog and cat waiting areas and a large retail area. Behind the scenes, we have a well-stocked veterinary pharmacy, digital general and dental radiography, a quiet room for visitation along with a spacious treatment area and surgical suite.
