I want to say that we have the best customers! We have been very fortunate. I hear stories from other barns all the time about their customers and I always tell them we don't have those customers. Ours have always been supportive and flexible and appreciative of our efforts. This cold spell is more proof of that with all the cooperation from parents. Thank you all so much !

January is just not going to be kind to those that want to ride. So next week we will have the horsemanship classes again. I would like to keep the same schedule since the majority of students were able to come. Monday looks good for riding so it will be the Tuesday- Friday lessons. If the groups fall into your normal schedule and you do not attend, there will be no other make-up .It went really well this week and I'm so appreciative of everyone's cooperation. I could see the students were having fun. Different topics will be taught. If you could please reach out to me (Dawn) if the same group will work for you.

Due to very low temperatures Tuesday through Thursday of this week, unmounted lessons will take place in groups. Our new head instructor, Jess, will be teaching on various topics integral to riding. There will be no make-ups for those not attending. I will be reaching out to coordinate times. If road conditions force us to cancel, we will reschedule the groups.

We are excited to have Jessica Bortner- Harris of JBH Eventing and Sporthorses join us as Head Instructor/ Trainer. Jessica has been the coach for the Appalachian Equestrian Team here and now will be a part of our overall lesson program. Inquire for lesson fees.

Reminder on winter weather policy. Lessons will occur if inside barn is low 30' s and above. If we close it will be posted here so please check just like you do with school closings. Any weather related cancellations will get made up on Saturdays and in groups. It will be with whatever instructor works that day. If you choose not to have that instructor, you do not get a make-up. Weather cancellations will be counted as road and/ or temperature conditions are such that most people cannot get here. If canceling because the student doesn't want to ride in the cold, that will not be eligible for a make-up. Please plan accordingly.

Due to low temperatures there will be no lessons Monday and Tuesday. Make-ups for weather related cancelations will be ongoing until completed.

Please remember that monthly tuition is ALWAYS due on the first. Holiday weekends are no exception. Lessons will not occur if payment has not been made. Sunday is the 1st of December. Please make your payment this weekend to be able to stay on the schedule.
