Our first week of camp was amazing. We welcome our second week campers on Monday. Please remember to wear long pants( leggings for girls is perfect) and closed toe shoes. A low heel boot is preferable. Also send a lunch and water bottle daily. If you have a printer please print and sign the waiver to bring. See you all Monday!

I want to give credit to Jessica Bortner-Harris of JBH Eventing & Sporthorses for her role in helping Larisa achieve Grand Champion in her last two shows. Larisa is a very good solid Hunter rider but had started entering Jumper shows with Evy( Evola P) due to my other granddaughter, Alaina, not being able to ride much anymore because of back issues. Evy is Alaina's horse. Larisa has 2 of her own, Athena, her hunter, and Angel. She took on training with Evy so Evy would have a job but Larisa wasn't a Jumper. She did fairly well at shows but just couldn't quite get the time needed to place well. She started working with Jess consistently prior to the show a few weeks ago. What a difference! She can get the time without the speed so to make it a more controlled ride. The results speak for themselves. Larisa isn't the only rider Jess has helped. Our students have benefited greatly from her knowledge and have become much better riders. They understand the "why" of something rather than just being told do this or that. Jess helps the rider understand the horse's experience while being ridden, not just what the rider is experiencing. Thank you Jess! Next goal- wine 🍷 goblet. 😆
