It’s International Cat Day! While these six girls are behind the scenes when it comes to the dogs they help me every day. All of them have very different personalities but they greet clients, help train dogs and one day Zara hopes that they will all be her besties. 🤔A huge thank you to the best snuggle buddies a girl could ask for!

Hi!!! I’ve been quiet for the past year due to some big changes in our lives. Chris and I have been looking for a home with more land for what seems like forever. In the spring we sold our house and embarked on a move to our new home. Of course it has taken much longer than I wanted it to. Doesn’t it always work out that way? 🤪 As we near the finish line the dogs and I are excited to welcome back our furry friend’s. The dogs are loving having a massive fenced yard and new indoor play area to share with their friends! We are now located just outside of the beautiful town of Boonsboro, MD. There are so many exciting new places we have found to explore for field trips that I can’t wait to share!

Gia and Ember had a blast this weekend at the Maryland Sporting Dog Association field day! We all learned so much but the best part was watching them swim and fetch their birds. A huge thank you to Chris for being my dog wrangler. We ate amazing food, met some new dog people and spent quality time together. Can’t wait to continue learning this sport. 🦆🐶

Shadow is in training and learning many new skills to one day be a confident service dog for Amari. While the Service Dog in Training (SDIT) is a long process he is eagerly learning new skills each day and enjoys all the extra snacks. 😋

Today we celebrated Aubrie and her dog Maverick’s Gotcha day. He has been a wonderful addition to our home for the last year and is such a love bug. 💘 Behind the scenes she helps me feed dogs, clean kennels, is a fantastic distraction to proof behaviors with training dogs and gives the best belly rubs. 💁🏻‍♀️ Along with being an amazing student she makes the time each week to train Maverick. She baked an adorable cake and cupcakes for Maverick and the daycare/boarding pups. It was a huge hit along with bubbles and a sprinkler. Thank you Aubrie Houck for all you do!

Ember and I enjoyed the beautiful weather this afternoon while out training with Causey Labradors And Training, LLC and Fine Canine. We stopped at The Trail House to do some shopping and Ember decided she would take full advantage of the cool floor for a break. After some shopping we had an awesome lunch at Truth and Beauty Bar & Kitchen. One of my favorite reasons to train downtown is all of the awesome people we meet and answering their questions about service dogs.

All of these pups have been through a training program with us. When they come for daycare or boarding it’s good to keep practicing the skills that they learned and stay consistent.

We love when pups come back to visit us! Cash and Finn were daycare and boarding regulars. They moved in the fall but still come back usually once a month for a visit. Their friends were so glad to see them!
